oh I KNOW! I posted that video on my myspace.......and it's true. Most think they're saved because they asked once and now they're good forever. I don't recall anyone stressing it to me that I actually ad to live like Jesus as much as humanly possible EVERYDAY to actually have a good chance of makin it inside the gates. That is a great disservice to people. I have wondered how to make others aware of this fact.

Btw....CALL ME....unless you're scared and can't call til I'm IN BED! LOL Got your message this a.m. and thought...."Well that KNUCKLEHEAD!" I am in bed by 9 now cuz of school/work so you gotta beat the clock hear me?!

An individual who does not teach according to the truth and does not listen to the words of Jesus Christ, Lord Savior will look like a fool.

Building on Rock vs. Sand (what is smarter? Jesus = Rock, know the Rock, get wise, gain authority.

28 "When Jesus finished these words, the crowds were astonished at this teaching for he taught them as one having authority and not as their scribes."

In summary,
WE do not have the power to JUDGE so don't do it
Pearls Before Swine ? ( Please educate me on this LOL)
The Answer to Prayer: Ask, and we shall see what God's will is
The Golden Rule: Let this rule shine through your actions so others can see how to live up to such a rule that was so awesomely created by an Awesome God :)
HEAVEN IS WIDE BUT TO LIVE A LIFESTYLE TO GET THERE IS NARROW
False Prophets make sure you speak the truth or suffer the consequences
KNOW THE RIGHT FOUNDATION ( WHO IS THE ROCK?)

K I hope this is not too confusing I did it this morning so yea I apologize for any grammatical errors, I hope that you can look pass the errors and focus on the message. Everything I said was what I felt I do not mean to harm anyone critique anyone or anything that is anything LOL.

Call me out, but know that this is my opinion and I am sharing it with you. Though I have expressed such feelings about Matthew Chapter 7 I do know to keep an open mind and there are so many ways to look at what is being said. I can add personal experiences also just ask me :) Correct me, question me, and call me crazy I do not care about what others think of me because the only person who can judge me is Our Lord God Almighty, all for my father in Heaven.

In addition to understanding prayer and whether it is answered it is best to keep an open mind on interpreting and answered prayer for example a teen might pray for a girlfriend or boyfriend but instead they meet a new friend that will hopefully bring them closer to God :)

The Narrow Gate 7:13
This passage is an analogy for how narrow it is to live our lives and how large we perceive our worldy lives. Our lives appear difficult but when God is there life becomes lighter better yet you live with no worries or concern and stress no more. (Ask me questions about this I have a lot to say its just I'd probably keep going and not stop.)

False Prophets:
I felt like this is a warning for us. Be critical about what you hear and examine the fruit that they bear. If good then good if bad then bad. If mixed with good and bad then still bad. Look at the actions of the listeners of a prophet and if such acts are not according to God's righteousness and are sinful then there is something wrong. So prophets beware of bearing bad fruit and be cautious of what is said about God. No one wants to proclaim the wrong message about the word of God so do it right. And if you do proclaim do follow accordingly and know that you are at a greater risk of being thrown into the fire ( this is how I feel so yea not to scare anyone, ask me questions about this I'll explain more)

The True Disciple 7:21-23
This part of the Chapter I felt affirmed in the Lord's stance on who will enter the kingdom of heaven and how important it is to spread the truth for he will not tolerate his name being used in vain. God is keeping it real :) in this section.
21 NOT EVERYONE WHO SAYS TO ME 'LORD, LORD,' WILL ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, BUT ONLY THE ONE WHO DOES THE WILL OF MY FATHER IN HEAVEN

The Two Foundations 24-29
24 "Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock."
WISE
NOT WISE if you do not listen to his word

continuation...
(by the way this is all how I feel I am not saying it is right or wrong and when I say "you" it does not mean you or anything I am just using that word to engage a reader)

There is so much more to add about Judging others, ultimately I feel like the message is saying DO NOT JUDGE, ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE, IF YOU JUDGE YOU WILL BE JUDGED, CHECK YOURSELF before CHECKING OTHERS, DO NOT BE A HYPOCRITE and EXAMINE your LIFE so that once the wooden beam is taken out of your own eye you may see clearly and help another brother/sister out :)

I noticed the significance of size in this part of the passage and it talks about oneself having a "wooden beam" vs the "splinter" of a brother's What do you think about that?

Pearls before Swine
6 Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you into pieces.
- I could use some help with understanding this part in the Chapter. What does it mean metaphorically to "tear me into pieces?" I was really thinking about it but nothing came to mind yet so yea..what do you think about it?

The Answer to Prayers 7: 7-11
The word was straight forward to me. Ask and it will be given, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For whoever seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks the door will be opened. I feel like often times people think one must pray a particular way to ask God for something however there are many different ways to ask, but be respectful and know what process of prayer best fits
a particular situation.

From 9-11
I was like wow :)....Shout out to the parents and making sure they raise their children righteously by teaching their children how to pray. Give GOOD GIFTS to children and that will please our Heavenly Father. He is always willing to give good gifts so long as you ask and in his own timing you will receive.

Hi David, I was led to start here in Matthew Chapter 7: 1-29

First I'd like to acknowledge my appreciation for having you as my Brother D :) With that said I will begin my analysis of the Chapter :)

Chapter 7:1-5 Judging Others
1. Stop judging, that you may not be judged.
-I feel that this line is saying Judge no more because only Lord, God Almighty is the Judge. No one else. And if you judge others then you shall be judged also, not by others but maybe by others in this world but by the Father in Heaven you will be judged.

2. For as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you .
-I feel like this is reiterating what I said for the first line except with more emphasis on not judging someone. This message brings forth awareness that if you judge you WILL be Judged and at the cost of what is deserved according to your actions.

3. Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own eye?
- I feel like we are warned to examine our own lives before we edify others. The splinter is used as a metaphor to get an individual to realize how a person may think another person has a problem but look at how larger your own problem is. I feel like I am being told not to be a hypocrite and to help myself before I help others. I find it interesting how it is written as "Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye" what is written does not talk about any friend or any woman or man but there is a family like relation. I feel like though we want to help our brothers and sisters find themselves we have to find ourselves first and be sound. The significance of a wooden beam in the eye relates to Matthew 6: 22-23 The Light of the Body The lamp of your body is the eye. If your eye is sound, your whole body will be filled with light; 23 but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be in darkness. And if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be."
