Hi Annie, real great to meet you. I share in your request. Not that am married and seeking a baby, but that i identify with your burden and will hold it up in my heart.. Most people are anxious about having a baby and this is in direct contradiction of the injunction in scripture. Trust His almighty hand dear, rest in the confidence that God is great and has a plan for you even in these times.. I am sure that his hands are in your life regardless of how this turns out.. Trust him.. rest in his love.. Will hope to become great friends as time goes on..
cheers..

Hey Annie!!
WoW! Ya! What a coincidence!!!
My sons name is Chase and my daughters name is Danielle. Are you thinking of those at all for names. Just wondering since you are using Paige. Anyway, Lets chat more. I would like to send you pictures of us and the kids, but I dont know how. How do I do that? Well, hes got the reversal so lets join together in prayer for that little one to come!! God is faithful, and even if He doesnt give you a child, just know that maybe it wasnt His will that you have one of your own but that you should adopt or something. Be a caregiver or teach a class or something like that. Anyway, I hope to hear from you. I think God brought us together!!!!! Paige

Hi Annie!!
Im glad I met you!! Wow! Get this-
Im married, just turned 35,and my husband just turned 51.When I met him,he was just getting a divorce from his wife of 20 yrs. He has 2 kids around my age already. When we were married, the doctor said I couldnt have kids because of all the self abuse to my body that I did. Like anorexia, bulimia. and diet pills. Lets just say, before christ I had a pretty bad habit of not taking very good care of myself I guess. But anyway, I didnt want kids anyway. Well in 2002 I gave my dying body to Christ, and in 2004 I had a healthy baby boy. Now, isnt that interesting? First, my body was trashed, my husband was alot older, I didnt even want kids,, but then, well, God did what He did and I cannot imagine living without my now 2 small children. Yes, I just had another one last August. What Im saying is that you have to TRUST God because He has for you a plan that you have NO idea what it is for your life. He KNOWS what you need, WHO you need and WHEN. I never thought I would have kids, let alone even a Christian, but God always gets His way. My husband just got a vasectomy actually just yesterday. Funny eh? Well, not so funny for him, but, ya know. But can you imagine this man? Hes been married before with 2 kids about my age with thier own kids and now he has a whole new family he just started. So, his new children that he has with me, are younger than his grandchildren. Hmmmmmm, ponder that one. I am soo excited to meet you!! Did the Lord bring us together or what???? I asked my husband what a vasectomy reversal would cost, but he doesnt know. (Nor would he care at this point, because he's done!) So I will call the doctor and let you know. My advice? Adopt. I have alot of friends at my church that have, and they absolutely are blessed because of it. You should look into that some more. Anyway, got to go. You sound like you are soo passionate about God and your hubby. You are encouraging to me!!! IM NOT ALONE!!!!!

Annie,

Greetings in the Lord! This is Greg, TheNET Coordinator. Welcome! We're glad you are here!

Thanks for your post. I don't have any great wisdom for you, except that God knows your situation, He loves you and has a perfect plan for you and your husband. According to my understanding, these things take time and I've heard too many stories of supposedly "infertile" couples eventually having babies. There are a lot of emotional, physical and stress factors involved. I would encourage you to trust God and keep praying.

Annie, have you just become a believer recently? Where do you feel you are now in your walk with the Lord?

Please be sure to check out the Genesis Group and visit the Links for Growth forum for great tips on how to grow in Christ.

I also want to invite you to join our new Bible study, In the Beginning: a study in the book of Genesis to help you know God better and grow in Him! You can click here to join the study.

Once again, thanks for joining TheNET. I hope you make lots of good friends here and keep growing in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.
