Thanks for the prayers Andrea God is so good. I Am so grateful for all the wonderful people I've met from this site. I found it by accident looking for something else. Praise God for you and Missy and all of the others that make this a great place to come to for peace and hope. Dear Andrea,
The bible says, "Therefore since we have been made right in God's sight byfaith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us." Romans 5:1. The insight to this verse is that we are now at peace with God, which may differ from peaceful feelings such as Calmness & tranquility. Peace with God means that we have been reconciled with Him. There is no more hostility between us, no sin blocking our relationship with Him. Peace with God is possible only because Jesus paid the price for our sins through His death on the cross.

I would like to share a scripture. Jesus says, " I AM leaving you with a gift - Peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don't be troubled or afraid." (John 14:27), May this be a comfort to you.

WHAT'S A CHURCH?

A well-worn one-dollar bill and a similarly distressed twenty-dollar bill arrived at a Federal Reserve Bank to be retired. As they moved along the conveyor belt to be burned, they struck up a conversation. The twenty-dollar bill reminisced about its travels all over the country.

"I've had a pretty good life," the twenty-dollar bill proclaimed. "Why I've been to Las Vegas and Atlantic City , the finest restaurants in New York , performances on Broadway, and even a cruise to the Caribbean "

"Wow!" said the one-dollar bill. "You've really had an exciting life!"

"So tell me," says the twenty-dollar bill, "where have you been throughout your lifetime?"

The one dollar bill replies, "Oh, I've been to the Methodist Church , the Baptist Church, the Lutheran Church."

The twenty-dollar bill interrupts, "What's a church?"
