One attribute of a christian is that of giving,God so loved the world that he gave(john3:16a).whether it is an offering to the lord, or to the poor and needy,God notices when we give and what we give.scripture records it.exodus35:21a says, and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved him came and brougth an offering to the lord.we cannot out give God.he always pours back more into our lap(luke6:38)thank you God bless you....

WHAT'S A CHURCH?
A well-worn one-dollar bill and a similarly distressed twenty-dollar bill arrived at a Federal Reserve Bank to be retired. As they moved along the conveyor belt to be burned, they struck up a conversation. The twenty-dollar bill reminisced about its travels all over the country.
"I've had a pretty good life," the twenty-dollar bill proclaimed. "Why I've been to Las Vegas and Atlantic City , the finest restaurants in New York , performances on Broadway, and even a cruise to the Caribbean "
"Wow!" said the one-dollar bill. "You've really had an exciting life!"
"So tell me," says the twenty-dollar bill, "where have you been throughout your lifetime?"
The one dollar bill replies, "Oh, I've been to the Methodist Church , the Baptist Church, the Lutheran Church."
The twenty-dollar bill interrupts, "What's a church?"
Oh, all of you must come to the philippines to surf the whole islands. i heard from surfing enthusiasts all over the world that we have some of the best surfing seas. one surfer called my country the surfing paradise, i don't know whether he's telling the truth, but that is only one person telling. i think the proof of the pudding is in the eating. so let me know when you come, i'll ask our tourism body to help you seek the best surfing corners of my small but beautiful country.

PROVERBS 16:3
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.
In these times a lot of people are "running scared". For many it seems as though their whole world has collapsed. With jobs being lost, a government that has gone crazy, a world that seems headed for confrontational disaster, and so on, anxiety grows and uncertainty seems to be the attitude most of the world adheres to. Not so for Christians. The above verse is our plan for success!
Our GOD is a proactive GOD. HE is behind us every step of the way. We just have to remember that. And since HE is a proactive GOD, we should be pro-active believers committing our plans, desires, and actions to HIM. The WORD says that whatever we do we should do as though for the LORD. When we have that type of commitment we can't fail. HE won't let us fail. So honestly and humbly commit your plan to the LORD. HE will bless it and bring you success. The Scriptures say so.
Anyway, that's my take on it and I'm sticking to it!
God bless ya' in the name of JESUS,
John
PS: Please pray for Alex, Rick, Jay and the work he is doing in the Christian Surfers Association, Jon, Wayne, Angel and "Living The Word of The Day", as well Gary and his work. Thank you.
