I know my biggest battle I face every day is to keep in mind that I am in a spiritual battle. If it were left up to me I wouldn't have a chance, but the truth is that we have more than a chance, we can have total victory over all the powers of the enemy.
“Greater is he who is us than he who is in the world.” ( 1John 4:4b KJV)
“ Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” ( Ephesians 6: 10-12 NAS)
“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son.” ( Colossians 1:13 )
The first thing we need to understand is that we are not in a wrestling match with a human opponent, It is a spiritual battle that we can't fight with our intellect or with with or by any physical means. It is a spiritual battle that must be conquered by with the weapons of our warfare that are mighty through God.
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” ( 2Corrinthians 10:4 KJV )
Paul wrote to timothy, “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.” ( 2 Timothy 2: 1 )
Paul was telling him to be empowered, or enable by the divine influence( grace ) upon his heart, through Christ Jesus. So we see that it is truly a spiritual battle we are in that we can overcome not in our own strength, but through the power and authority of Jesus Christ and from his mighty strength in us.
“Finally, receive your power from the Lord and from his mighty strength. Put on all the armor that God supplies. In this way you can take a stand against the devil's strategies.” ( Ephesians 6:10-11 GWT )
What does it mean to put on the armor of God?
The answer is not to say a prayer as many assume, but it is by applying the armor to our lives. In other words the armor must be implemented and become a part to our lives.
The armor that God has supplied for us is to be able to stand in these evil days is;
The belt of truth
>“So then, take your stand! Fasten truth around your waist like a belt.” (Ephesians 6:14 NAS)
I like the thought of wrapping truth around my life like putting on a belt . The devil is the father of lies,
( John 8:44 ) but the truth sets us free from his evil influence when the lies are removed out of lives through the truth as revealed in the Word of God.
The breastplate of righteousness
The breast plate is God's approval. “Even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.” ( Romans 3:2 )
“He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” ( 2 Corinthians 5:21 )
In Christ Jesus even though we are all truly guilty of the sin we were born into, yet we are now blameless before God because of His sacrifice on our behalf by Jesus Christ.
The shoes of peace
The shoes of peace represent that we are ready to spread the Good News that gives peace. It's being firm-footed in the gospel of peace. When you get your shoes on you are ready to go;
The shield of faith
The Greek word here used, “is to stand under, that is, to be a foundation.” Faith is the foundation on which all our hopes for the future are built. For us it is the promise of eternal life through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the promise of victory in this present life over all the power of the enemy.
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.” ( 2 Corinthians 2:14 )
The helmet of salvation
The Roman soldier wore on his head a metallic cap to protect it from blows, called a helmet.
Isaiah 59:17 says: “He put a helmet of salvation (deliverance ) on his head.”
Salvation, is the consciousness that we have a Savior able to save unto the uttermost.
“But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.” (Thessalonians5:8 )
The sword of the Spirit
“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” ( Hebrews 4:12 )
Matthew Henry's concise commentary;
“The Christian amour is made to be worn; and there is no putting off our amour till we have done our warfare, and finished our course. The combat is not against human enemies, nor against our own corrupt nature only; we have to do with an enemy who has a thousand ways of beguiling unstable souls. The devils assault us in the things that belong to our souls, and labor to deface the heavenly image in our hearts. We must resolve by God's grace, not to yield to Satan. Resist him, and he will flee.”
Prayer and petition
Pray by the Spirit – That is to pray through the influence of the Holy Spirit “In the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.” ( Romans 8:2 ) “Use every kind of prayer and request there is. For the same reason be alert. Use every kind of effort and make every kind of request for all of God's people.” (Ephesians 6:18 )
As we apply these spiritual weapons to our personal lives we will walk in victory over all the power of the enemy with the help of the Holy Spirit, and the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Prayer
Praise you God for the victory that we have over the power enemy. Father we need to grow in our understanding of how to walk in victory that you have provided for us. You have totally freed us from the grasp of this present world and we can walk in the power that you have provided over all the power of the enemy.
Open up our understanding of the all the things you have given to us to assure our victory. Our greatest asset is you Holy Spirit who leads me to victory in this present life. You are constantly helping us, teaching us, leading us, we desire to be submitted to you, take full control of our lives.
We also overcome by the the blood of the Lamb and the word of our own testimonies of the grace that has brought to us everything we need to live a victorious Christian life. In the name of Jesus, amen

BEHOLD GOD'S POWER - IT COMES WHEN WE ACT ON HIS WORD...
IF we play our cards right we can not be moved - and lucky got nothing to with it - we just have to count on the blessings that come from above and all those floods full of blessings from above, and surely we will not be moved as it says just test me and see in Malachi 3:10 no other place in the bible where it says test me, but HE is asking us to test HIM with our tithe(just see your pastor now with your tithing, GOD is going to change things for the better for us all) Just trust in the invisible GOD (JESUS) you will be singing and been glad just like the song below here lol! They say let it be done as it is in heaven but if we don’t trust in HIS word how are we going to live as it is in heaven then, how can we trust if we don’t have faith, how are we ever going to have faith we don’t try it, sometimes it is the risks that make us move to better position in our lives – just like “Nikes” says just do it – faith comes by hear the word, but word with no action is dead, what I mean by this is lets act on what we hear lets not ignore the truth we hear and what we hear sometimes is what we have learnt and what we have learnt makes us better then before… only JESUS can make changes and make us glad … Amen!!!!

No one can really explain or understand love, but if you really know JESUS then you have got it – I believe so, though I believe one has to learn to let it flow, but you cant let it flow if you cant let trust (the power to love is in our hearts as it is triggered by the bits it makes - though it takes another better dimension when the heart stops biting if one loves CHRIST) - I think it is always difference depending on the situation how an individual loves, some think love is fading away from the world, and some believe in it, only when they are in love. But some have given up while some are looking for it and sometimes when someone shows love some question it, I am on the side of those who let it flow, but what is funny is everyone has always got something to say about Love and we all experienced it or yet to - but the ULTIMATE OF IT ALL IS TRUST, BELIEVE OR NOT THE BIBLE SAYS LOVE IS ALWAYS TRUSTING. IF WE HAVE TRUST FROM SOMEONE NO MATTER THE CHALLENCE TRY TO MAINTAIN IT - but I again I do believe that you cant trust without faith - simply because faith is something you cant see and so is trust :), because you can believe (or TRUST) in someone without proof - Just to touch base - believe is in faith and trust is in love flow :)

Thank you brother,i am overjoyed to be a friend&brother in Christ.there is so much to share+there is so much i want to learn &to know,about India,worshiping there etc.My foreoarents is out of India,the British bought then here on this side of the world as indentured servants,few went back but most stayed and develop our country,oh in Guyana we have a national holiday set aside as Indian arrivail day on 5th May every year,brother it is a real huge celebration in this land.so long for now,stay bless and keep the good work uo.

Yes God is calling us as crucified with Christ Christians to come outside the gate with Jesus. This is where we are to live our lives in reliance and complete trust in the Son Of God.
We are not part of the world anymore, there is nothing there that we need or want anymore. We have exchanged our old sinful lives for a new life, a life of faith and complete reliance and complete trust, so we can never live our lives like we did before. We gladly bare the reproach of Christ bearing the contempt, abuse and shame with Him.
We are called to bring others outside the camp, by going into the world and preaching the gospel inviting others to come outside the gate and find salvation through the sacrifice of the Son Of God. ( see Matthew 28;19, Mark 16:15 )
We can never live inside the gate of the world again.
Peter wrote;“Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.” ( 1Peter 2:11 )
Paul also wrote; “Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” ( Galatians 5:24 )
John wrote; “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” ( 1 John 2:15 )
We are in the World, but not of this world anymore. We are ambassadors, and pilgrims who belong to another kingdom that is not of this world.
Jesus prayed for us; “I'm not asking you to take them out of the world but to protect them from the evil one. They don't belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Use the truth to make them holy. Your words are truth. I have sent them into the world the same way you sent me into the world. I'm dedicating myself to this holy work I'm doing for them so that they, too, will use the truth to be holy.” ( John 17:15-19 GWT )
Prayer
Father God thank you for helping us to come out of the world, outside of the gate and find salvation through the Christ Jesus sacrifice upon the cross. Help us to use the truth revealed in your Word to make us holy and set apart for your special purpose. We are truly aliens herein this world as we are endeavoring to bring others outside the gate and show them the way of salvation. Thank you Jesus for your prayer for us while we are here. We gladly bare your reproach and desire to be salt and light to the world showing others the way to life and life eternal. In Jesus name amen.
Dear Brother,
Believe me we have all been in the same place you are right now. During the time of testing is when God can do His greatest work in our lives.
If you read through the Bible you will see almost every follower of God going through trials and situations, but God always brought them through. Some times it is waiting, some times it is betrayal, or a broken relationship, or financial set backs. We all are going through things.
It is how we deal with the problems that will make all the difference for how the outcome will be. I have had so many trials in the last 3 years, health problems, a broken marriage, rebellious children, financial set backs, but God has used it all to make me into a much better person.
I would never want to go back and erase the trials because of the good work that has taken place in me by the Holy Spirit. Sebastian God is with you and will also give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise in exchange for the garment of heaviness. (Isaiah 61:3)
Dear Brother, I do pray for you that all the character qualities that are in Jesus will also be produced in your life by the Holy Spirit, that you will lack nothing when it comes to living a victorious Christian life.
I pray that you will also give up more and more control of your life to the Holy Spirit, that you will be a Spirit filled man of God. God has said; In the last days His Spirit would be poured out upon all flesh.
I pray that all the hurt that has come into your heart because of the failures of others would be healed. that God would fully restore your soul. (mind, will, and emotions) God is like a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. In Jesus name I pray, amen.

"I have been crucified ( in Him I have shared His crucifixion ) with Christ; ( outside the gate ) and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith ( by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in ) in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” ( Galatians 2:20 )
Yes God is calling us as crucified with Christ Christians to come outside the gate with Jesus. This is where we are to live our lives in reliance and complete trust in the Son Of God.
We are not part of the world anymore, there is nothing there that we need or want anymore. We have exchanged our old sinful lives for a new life, a life of faith and complete reliance and complete trust, so we can never live our lives like we did before. We gladly bare the reproach of Christ bearing the contempt, abuse and shame with Him.
We are called to bring others outside the camp, by going into the world and preaching the gospel inviting others to come outside the gate and find salvation through the sacrifice of the Son Of God. ( see Matthew 28;19, Mark 16:15 )
We can never live inside the gate of the world again.
Peter wrote;“Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.” ( 1Peter 2:11 )
Paul also wrote; “Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” ( Galatians 5:24 )
John wrote; “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” ( 1 John 2:15 )
We are in the World, but not of this world anymore. We are ambassadors, and pilgrims who belong to another kingdom that is not of this world.
Jesus prayed for us;
“I'm not asking you to take them out of the world but to protect them from the evil one. They don't belong to the world any more than I belong to the world. Use the truth to make them holy. Your words are truth. I have sent them into the world the same way you sent me into the world. I'm dedicating myself to this holy work I'm doing for them so that they, too, will use the truth to be holy.” ( John 17:15-19 GWT )
Prayer
Father God thank you for helping us to come out of the world, outside of the gate and find salvation through the Christ Jesus sacrifice upon the cross. Help us to use the truth revealed in your Word to make us holy and set apart for your special purpose. We are truly aliens herein this world as we are endeavoring to bring others outside the gate and show them the way of salvation. Thank you Jesus for your prayer for us while we are here. We gladly bare your reproach and desire to be salt and light to the world showing others the way to life and life eternal. In Jesus name amen.
Believe me we have all been in the same place you are right now. During the time of testing is when God can do His greatest work in our lives.
If you read through the Bible you will see almost every follower of God going through trials and situations, but God always brought them through. Some times it is waiting, some times it is betrayal, or a broken relationship, or financial set backs. We all are going through things.
It is how we deal with the problems that will make all the difference for how the outcome will be. I have had so many trials in the last 3 years, health problems, a broken marriage, rebellious children, financial set backs, but God has used it all to make me into a much better person.
I would never want to go back and erase the trials because of the good work that has taken place in me by the Holy Spirit. Sebastian God is with you and will also give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise in exchange for the garment of heaviness. (Isaiah 61:3)

Dear Brother, I do pray for you that all the character qualities that are in Jesus will also be produced in your life by the Holy Spirit, that you will lack nothing when it comes to living a victorious Christian life.I pray that you will also give up more and more control of your life to the Holy Spirit, that you will be a Spirit filled man of God. God has said; In the last days His Spirit would be poured out upon all flesh.
I pray that all the hurt that has come into your heart because of the failures of others would be healed. that God would fully restore your soul. (mind, will, and emotions) God is like a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
