My dear friend, it is not just a feeling but a reality you are experiencing when you become aware of your connection to Christ. This is what being a Christian is all about. We are told in Colossians 3:1-3:
1: So if you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
2: Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth,
3: for you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

We cannot fully comprehend the deep connection that is between us and Christ. But let us not be cheated of its reality by allowing our natural mind to think it is a fantasy. I am glad you are conscious of it as a reality.

I thank God for the way the Holy Spirit is moving upon you today. You are one of God's precious ones. And I am so grateful to God for bringing me into contact with you. I know you pray for me and I am thankful. I am praying for you too.

Thanks, my blessed friend. It is so refreshing to receive your encouraging word. Thanks for remembering me. "Like cold water to a thirsty soul, so is good news from a far country" (Proverbs 25:25).

Make a new heart in me, My God! Create it out of Your Pureness! (2 Cor. 5:17) Make my heart brand new so that it is totally pure and without anything bad. Dear God, make a new and faithful spirit inside of me. Give me Your Holy Spirit that I may be faithful to you in all things!! (John 3:1-21) Have my heart stick to you no matter what comes my way!!

I thank the Lord that you are enjoying the goodness of God, Alet. And I thank you also for your prayers. Like you, I am enriched daily spiritually to be a part of this internet Christian community. Hello and thank you for chosing be as a friend. I am amazed that so many people from different parts of the world have contacted me is such a short time. Our siituations are quite similar. I am also single, divorced, with no children. I considered myself to be Christian all my life, but always felt that something was missing. Last year I surrendered my life totally to Christ and received blessed salvation. I now know what I was missing. I am still relatively new at this and pray daily for guidance in my sprirtual growth and thank Him for the path that led me to where I am.
I used to work with a young lady from Portugal several years ago and I will always remember how her voice would soften when she talked about her home there.
Bless you for the work you do in bible counselling. I am hoping to do a mission trip sometime in the next year, myself.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.
