Your photography is beautiful.
I understand how you feel, my hubby was layed off Wal-Mart Corporate office 3 months ago.
It is hard, God is still here though. He never leaves us.
It has helped to remember that God knows what we need and he will take care of our needs. We wont get our wants always but our needs will be met.
He also uses things to get our attention. He has great plans for us... we just keep messing them up!!
If we can let go our silly selfs... and let God take control, we could fly like the eagles. Much easier to say than do.... but can be done with Jesus' help.
So are there eagles in St.Louis? We moved from KC 2 years ago. Never saw an eagle in MO. But here NW Arkansas... we saw one flying high over our back yard. There is supposed to be a sancuary a few miles from our house.

Bless you, brother, for your sincere words. I feel for you as well, knowing what it is like to be addicted to crack (yes, I was addicted to crack for more than two years...but it was more than 10 years ago), and have struggled through getting clean alone. I lost my home, my relationship, (I didn't have a job to lose because I was a stay-at-home mom who neglected her children for the drug...) Some drugs are stronger and harder to get over than others...right? I have been struggling with myself more than ever lately because this is a prescription drug, which leaves me feeling conflicted and misunderstood. I really don't want to escape, which is why most people use drugs, but instead want to function at a higher level. I feel that I fall short without the drug and am useless, so I take it to make me function better. I have been searching out listings for local NA meetings and have found one at a local Catholic Parish. They are the same parish that I visited when I began looking for a home church, and also where I found a pamphlet for World Wide Marriage Encounters, which Todd and I went to for their weekend retreat. I believe it saved our marriage, and it was a wonderful resource. I don't know why I am surprised that NA also meets there. I have found another home church that I've really enjoyed going to until lately. For some reason I feel distant from them, like they are getting too caught up in the religion and have forgotten that I am flesh and blood. I will try to make it to the first NA meeting at the parish on Thursday of this week @ 6:30 p.m., so say I prayer that I make it and that I remain open to the help they have to offer. Bless you, brother, for all your care and love...

hello dear thomas, here's what you need in the meantime -a joke to welcome you!

Attending a wedding for the first time, a little girl whispered to her mother, "Why is the bride dressed in white?''

The mother replied, "Because white is the color of happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life."

The child thought about this for a moment then said, "So why is the groom wearing black?"
