Soul food for the Day: The CENTER...

The center chapter of the BIBLE is Psalm 118.. there are 594 chapters before and after Psalm 118
And if we will add this we will get 1188... in which the center verse of the BIBLE is PSALM 118:8
What is the significant of Psalm 118:8 in God's perfect will for our lives?
It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.-- Psalm 118:8

Hi Paula, i coild sense you sincerety to be open and to really run after God with your heart.Ok keep your focus and fix your eyes on the Lord.Don't lose your perspective.Ps 37:3 -7, He willguide you if you keep on following and trusting him,it will come out clear when he guides and speaks to you,because he is the good sherperd (Ps 23).Spend time in his presence in prayer and fasting and reading and meditating upon his word and journalise what you sense in your spirit that God is directing you into.(Ps 1; Josh 1;8, Deut 6). Depression comes once in awhile,especially when your expectation are not met.Maybe you have a big dream for your life and is not being met,nothing is wrong with that but you need to set a strategy,action plans,realistic,flexible,personal,balanced,achievablegoals and steps to take daily,weekly,monthly,yearly to achieve your dreams.My advise is you finish your AA in Acct,as it will come in handy later in life.ok grab a book and list all your dreams in life and then zero in on what you feel is where your great desire lies in,that is what you should concentrate on.Remember ,even when you have discovered your goal in life,difficulties,setbacks,disappoinment ,discouragement,stress,depression will still crop up oce in awhile but you must be determined to press on in life.Shake off depression when it is bothering you,yes pray,listen to a CD,take time out with positive friends,rest,exercise,get involved in some community work. i believe God has something good for your life,keep on and do what you are supposed to do ,you will arrive in good time,you will discover your life niche,depreesion is part of the journey,but don't spend too much time thinking about the problems,because sometimes 90% of what we worry aboit don't really exist.Hope this helps,thanx and God bless.

A lesson to be learned From typing the wrong email address!!!!

A Minneapolis couple decided to go to Florida to thaw out during a particularly icy winter. They planned to stay at the same hotel where They spent their honeymoon 20 years earlier. Because of hectic schedules, it was difficult to coordinate their travel schedules. So, the husband left Minnesota and flew to Florida on Thursday, with his wife flying down the following day.



The husband checked into the hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send an email to his wife. However, he accidentally left out one letter in her email address, and without realizing his error, sent the email.


Meanwhile, somewhere in Houston, a widow had just returned home from her husband's funeral. He had been a minister who was called home to glory following a heart attack. The widow decided to check her email, expecting messages from relatives and friends.


After reading the first message, she screamed and fainted. Her son rushed into the room, found his mother on the Floor, and saw the computer screen which read:

To: My Loving Wife
Subject: I've Arrived
Date: October 16, 2005

I know you're surprised to hear from me. They have computers here
now and you are allowed to send emails to your loved ones. I've just
arrived and have been checked in.
I've seen that everything has been
prepared for your arrival tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing you then!!!!

Father I thank You in the name of Jesus for all that you are doing for my family. I thank You that Your promises are ye and amen, and that "You know the thoughts that You have toward us, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope". I pray that You will "bless us indeed, and enlarge our territory, that Your hand would be with us, and that you would keep us from evil, that we may not cause pain". Lord I thank You that Your word is True, and that "Your not a man that You could lie". Lord I thank you for becoming poor that we might be rich. I thank You that words says that "You will open to us Your good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to our land in its season; and to bless all the work of our hands. I thank You that You are making us lenders to many nations, and that we should not borrow. for making us the head and not the tail, and putting us above and not beneath, that we are blessed in the city and blessed in the fields, that we are blessed in our coming in and our going out". In the name of Jesus I thank You that you watch over Your word to perform it; so I pray that "Your kingdom come Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven. lol Thank u!! I try, its not easy to stay positive. I pray for God to give me the strength... I went shopping yesterday, had to take advantage of Black friday! Its sooo sad how ppl act for sales though, they were buggin out and ppl lost lives. smh... How was ur thanksgiving? I cooked 7 things in 4 hrs, and the food came out delicious!!
