The Return of Jesus Christ

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. (1:11)

After Jesus Christ rose from the dead, He ministered for forty days to the disciples before He ascended into Heaven. (Act 1:11) teaches us that His ascension was physical, and that it was witnessed by many people. The angels declared that Jesus Christ would just as they saw Him ascend. Therefore, we may confidently look forward to the physical return of Jesus Christ. His return is not a spiritual return: it is a literal one. He came the first time as a humble servant, hardly notice except by a few. But, He shall return as a conquering King, and every one will see Him. His return will be magnificent, glorious, and even frightening to many – to those who do no know Him.

(Daniel 7:13)

I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

(Matt. 24:27)

27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

( Matt.24:30)

30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

( Matt. 37-39)

37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

( Luke 12:40)

40Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.

( John 14:1-3)

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

(Rev 1:7)

7Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen

God Bless you as we continue on this spiritual journey.
