Thanksgiving

(1 Corinthians 1:1-9)

 ¹Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

 ²Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

 ³Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

 ⁴I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

 ⁵That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

 ⁶Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

 ⁷So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

 ⁸Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 ⁹God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dearly beloved, we must thank the Lord for each other because of His grace given to us in Christ Jesus. For in Him we have been enriched in every way – in all our speaking and in all our knowledge. We must make our testimony about Jesus Christ be confirmed in us. I encourage you to use your spiritual gifts as we eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. If we continue to trust in Him and believe on His word He will keep us strong to the end, we must place Him above all circumstances in our lives.

Beloved we must prepare ourselves, so that we will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called us into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful. I appeal to you, brothers and sisters in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that we will agree with one another so that there won’t be any division in the body of Christ (Church), and we will be united in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. I pray that we will be perfectly united in mind and thoughts as we submit ourselves.
