All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Who are we?? 1John 5:1-5 1 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become A Child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves His children, too. 2We know we love God’s children if we love God and obey His commandments. 3Loving God means keeping His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome. 4For every Child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. 5And who can win this battle against the world? Only those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God. We are Children of the Most High! We are Victorious through our Faith. Our Faith in Jesus, our Faith in the Father, and His Spirit. v11 And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. v13-15 I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 14And we are confident that He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. 15And since we know He hears us when we make our requests, we also know that He will give us what we ask for. Many lose hope when it seems, that what they Pray for does not happen right away. They begin to “listen” to the whisper of the enemy. You must not be a Child of God, look what you have Prayed for has not happened. Stop listening to such foolishness! We Pray for whatever, and then we Believe. It is up to the Father Who knows best, when where and how things must take place. We are Loved!!! v 20-21 And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given us understanding so that we can know the true God. And now we live in fellowship with the true God because we live in fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the only true God, and He is eternal life. 21Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts. We have understanding! Yes, there are times when we seem to be in a position, to choose. In those times we Must lean on this verse, “..He has given us understanding...” Trust what we know; believe those things we know to be True. 1. We are Loved. “...He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.” 2. He hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases Him. This is Not a catch; not a technicality. He knows our hearts. He knows why we ask for things. He also knows what we need, even before we ask. Here is the thing, as we conform into the likeness of Jesus, so then do our desires. We have given our hearts to Him. John 11:41-43 Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank you for hearing me. 42You always hear me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe you sent me.” 43Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” So, we see here, Jesus telling us all, He asked the Father. He did not act alone in the things He did. Jesus Always gave the Glory to God. We see here a perfect example of, what Jesus asked the Father for.
John 6:10-11 ...(The men alone numbered about 5,000.) 11Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks to God, and distributed them to the people. Afterward he did the same with the fish. And they all ate as much as they wanted. This is another example of, how He Prayed and talked to the Father. He gave Thanks to God for what they had before them.{v9 There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish} There was a need and through Jesus, God filled the need. v12 After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.” 13So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves.
Matt 6:25,27, 31-34 “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? 27 Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? 31 “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ 32These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. 33Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. 34“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Yes, we have needs, but they do not need to consume our thoughts and Prayers. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously...”
Seek the Kingdom of God Lord Willing I will share on this next.
