All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

We are who we are in Christ only because He Is. Because He is Holy we are Holy. We are Wise because He is Wisdom. We are able to Love only because He Is Love. We have been Called and Chosen, based on His Will and Plan. In and of ourselves we lack, we lack any and all ability to be who He has Called us to be. Christ is The Gift. We must be obedient and die to our flesh. Only from a humble heart; in our weakness He is Strong. When we consider Grace and Love, as we see them as Gifts. We are part of His plan, for His Purpose, unto the Glory of the Lord. We say Thank You by Trusting Him to Strengthen us to be obedient to Him. We are only because He Is.

For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time--to show us his grace through Christ Jesus. 2Tim 1:9
he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit.
Titus 3:5
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. Rom 5:5
And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, "Abba, Father." Gal 4:6
Those who obey God's commandments remain in fellowship with him, and he with them. And we know he lives in us because the Spirit he gave us lives in us. 1John 3:24
But whoever continually keeps his commandments is the kind of person in whom God's love has truly been perfected. This is how we can be sure that we are in union with God:
1John 2:5
Love means doing what God has commanded us, and he has commanded us to love one another, just as you heard from the beginning. 2John 1:6
Jesus answered him, "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. Then my Father will love him, and we will go to him and make our home within him. John 14:26
So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. Heb 6:18
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory.
Col 1:27
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence. 4 And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires       2Peter 1:3-4

For God's gifts and his call can never be withdrawn. Rom 11:29

Tammy

Bless you Tammy.  I believe we must know who we are, so we can continue to become who He wants us to be.  The more we empty ourselves, the more they will see Jesus.  He has given us Everything, we are Blessed to be able to say, "Thank You Lord."

Beautiful. Reminded me of the song "Who Am I". Beautiful. I'm using this brother somewhere else.
