Voting and Scripture

In the times of our Lord CHRIST the lawyers were the Pharisees and Sadducees (the Law is Torah). The Pharisees (Democrats) enjoyed the support of the majority of the people, while the Sadducees (Republicans) catered to the wealthy. The Pharisees and Sadducees made up the Sanhedrin, which was the ruling body of the Jewish people. Then there were the Essenes (Christians) who were the minority and who were also Messianic Jews (Messianic Judaism). Our Lord and Savior YAHSHUA (Jesus), John the Baptist, the twelve Apostles, and their followers were all Essenes, who believed that the Pharisees and Sadducees were usurpers, because they had violated the old mode of government, which was King and High Priest. The King ruled the earthly part (courts and government) of the people, while the High Priest ruled over the spiritual matters of the people (State and Church), because we are made of Spirit and flesh; chemical energy and (spark) electromagnetic energy. In times of captivity in Jeremiah The Good Lord instructed the Jews to Pray for their country of captivity, and for their leaders, “because in their welfare, you will also find your welfare.”
