The love of our Lord never Fails

Love is patient and kind, Love is not envious, boastful or rude, I is not selfish, or easily provoked. It thinks no evil; rejoices not in iniquity but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hope in all things, endures all things. LOVE NEVER FAILS.Aand now, faith, hope and love abide, these three; but the greatest of all is Love.  1Corinthians 13:4-8, 13

Simple words, easy to remember. Words said at my son's wedding.

The love of our Father holds no bounds. It is freely given. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16

For God So loved us!  Even then mankind was disobeying Him, and still He loved us!.

"Love bears all things".  "It is not selfish or easily provoked" How many times have we asked for God's help and then forgot to thank Him? I wake up every morning giving thanks to the Holy Spirit for a new day, for keeping me and those I love safe through the night.

I was in a horrific car accident two years ago. I should have died but God gave me life once more and with a new understanding of my role in Gods plans for me.. My friends came to the hospital to read scripture to me. Even in a coma  that brought a smile to my face. I could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. He never left me. I felt the love He had for me. It was powerful. Instead of being in the hospital for 5-6 months as the doctors predicted I was out in 5 weeks. I returned Gods love a thousand fold. "Love bears all things"

Life is so precious, can you function without God's love? I can't. He gives me strength and grace and arms me with His words to bring peace and love to those around me.

God will never forsake us, even though we might turn from Him. He is always there , always loving, always faithful, knowing that we can always seek His comfort.

These words are from Matthew 5:3-10

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Blessed are they that hunger and thriist after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the Kindom of Heaven.

Love God with all your might, and you  will  see His Kingdom in Heaven.
