All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

The gospel is to be proclaimed, not debated.

People dont want to hear the truth, no matter what it is, because they're not seeking truth. They're not open to truth. They wont acknowledge their sin, and they aren't interested in a savior, so they just sit back and criticize or get angry. Some people refuse to accept gospel truth before they even hear it.

And we also thank God constantly for this, that when you received
the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the
word of men but as what it really is, the word of God, which is at work
in you believers. (1 Thessalonians 2:13)

So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word
of Christ. (Romans 10:17)

For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did;
but the message they
heard was of no value to them, because those
who heard did not combine it with faith. (Hebrews 4:2)

The "Great Commission" that Jesus gave us is for us to share the Gospel with the unsaved.  Our Lord  has called us to preach the Gospel to all people and all nations (Mark 16:15).

Believers aren't ashamed of the Gospel for we know it "the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16).

Some try to pervert the Gospel of Christ.  Let them be accursed!  (Galatians 1:7-9).

The unsaved can't understand the Gospel because they aren't spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians  2:14).  Until the spiritually blinded eyes of the unsaved are given sight by the Holy Spirit, the Gospel message is foolishness; but, to us who are being saved, it is the power of G0d (1 Corinthians 1:18).

The one true and saving Gospel is that which the Apostle Paul summarizes in First Corinthians 15.
