Soul food: PRAY FOR TODAY--- INCREASE OUR FAITH!!!!
The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"--- Luke 17:5
Many of us are saying this: I don’t have enough faith… if I’m sick, please do pray for me and I’ll just say Amen…. Funny, my brothers and sisters but it’s true… even here .. . friends and brethren used to say this things to me especially every Tuesday ( prayer meeting in our church ) Oh, sis. Kath just include me in your prayers and I can’t go with you tonight….
While I’m preparing myself today for our prayer meeting… this is what my spirit asking for the Lord to give us all--- Lord, increase our FAITH !!!!
Often we pray to our Lord: Lord please increase my money, increase in allowances, increase my salary, increase my possession… well it’s not bad to ask God for all this things !
But then the best prayer we can say today is---- Lord, please increase my faith … If you are rich in faith, you are rich in everything else… but if you are poor in faith, though you may have the wealth of the world, you will still be miserably wanting and poor because it is faith that opens the door into much of what can be had in this world! It is faith that can move mountains & the hand of God in response to the faith of his people… And I do hope you will say amen to this..
In Romans 12:3 --- For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you…
Faith is given to us by God. It is a supernatural, a spiritual possession that only God can give.. and if we need more this is what God saying to us--- ask ! for He said in Mt. 7:7 Ask 7 it will be given to you; seek & you will find; knock & the door will be opened to you…
If we don’t enough faith we can easily be defeated by the enemy--- the god of this world (1 Cor. 4:4 )
But if we will always ask God to increase our faith… God will open our spiritual eyes and be enlightened for everything happening in this global crisis… For He is LIGHT!
If we will increase in faith, nobody can rob us of our joy and peace.. we can easily say to our Lord: Lord, though my love ones can not understand why I am doing this and that but you know everything to me because you are in me and with me.. God is in us, He lives in us and that’s we call Him Emmanuel…
No matter what we are encountering right now… But living with faith is a treasure … We can still smile to the whole world.. and what ever the desire of your heart.. whatever trials and tribulations you have now… ask for increasing our faith .. for what is impossible to man is POSSIBLE to God… He gives all the very best for us…

Faith is a beautiful seed planted by God in our hearts, each one of us has a measure of faith in us, the growth of this seed determines on the amount of water and the quality of soil on which the very seed is planted...LET US FEED ON THE WORD EACH DAY OF OUR LIVES with a positive attittude and be led by the Holy Sprit asking God to strengthen our faith through him who died for us, Jesus Christ.

It is a subject we all need to think about.About 2 years back at a christian convention, a Hindu High caste brahmin who is now a Christian was one of the main speakers.His name is Raj Kumar.he is a very highly qualified engineer and has worked in former Soviet Union and Siemmens.He said when our LORD asks his disciples to go and perform miracles they do it and come back saying that even demons obeyed them and they were very happy.Later the LORD asks them to forgive those who hurt them.Even if a person hurts them 7 times and each time he comes to them and asks them to forgive they have to forgive.At this the disciples say LORD increase our Faith.He said that very strong faith is needed to forgive and love those who hurt us.May GOD Bless You and Guide You

I needed to hear this today. I know God is Faithful! Sometimes I give a person to the Father and take that person back. I need to stand more in faith. I need to ask God for more faith. I have knocked and asked!. I just know that God will answer in his time. His timing is always perfect. I will smile today because I know that i serve a Risen Lord.
