So Near Yet So Far

This heart…she’s crying
Longing to do something that she usually does.
But now, she can’t do it anymore
This makes her feel awful and weep.
She wants to come out of me and just shout
“I am wounded, I am hurt!”
What makes her feel bad is that when she tells it to people around her,
They never realized what she was trying to say.
Nobody around her understands.
She’s grieving.

I can see Him.
I still can see Him
but I see that He’s too far from me.
I can see Him far from me while I am being locked-up.
Yes…
I am a prisoner,
a prisoner of this world.
I can do everything in this world without hesitating.
But this makes me feel like I am a slave.
My heart is tired.
My body faint.
And my spirit is thirsty.

I praise God for the pain inside my heart.
I pray that this pain will remain in me
So that I could be able to learn from Him more
And live my life according to His Will

In the future I know Christ will use
my emotional wounds to help heal others.
Just like when He was nailed on the cross,
He was broken for us to comfort the broken among us.
