All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Hello
I wanna talk about what really do bother the body of Christ that is having an evil conscience.You know that conscience that keeps reminding you of what you did in the past, present etc.That still has you thinking that you are not a new creation in Christ Jesus. Put in example with Matthew 14:22-31. It begins with Peter because you know Peter represents the church. So it is good that we use him. I know this because I struggle with this concept of getting away from that evil conscience that will literally beat you up.So Let's go with Matthew 14:22-Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. Matthew 14:23 After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone,Matthew 14:24-and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Notice when you are thinking about the things of God something always tries to hinder your walk with Lord. Like this evil thoughts that tell you your not righteous, You know try to keep this guilt on you . That Jesus himself shed for you. Remember my friends that Jesus does not remember our sins anymore. So why should you allow those thoughts to plague you and then have you defiled.As the word of God says in Titus 1:15-To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. So while you are trying to walk in your new identity that storm of an evil conscience will always try to bother you. Because the impact of it will be so strong. It will even sometimes have you so crippled in the past. That you will not really believe that Jesus has forgiven you. And it will just continually echo in your mind. But the devil is a liar. Because Hebrews says that now that blood is shed their is remission of sins. AS the word of God says in Hebrews 9:22-In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.But back to Peter in Matthew 14:25-Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.Here comes the Holy Spirit to convict you of righteousness. As the word of God says in John 16:7- But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. God is sooo awesome! And also John 16:10-about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; But back to Matthew 14:26- When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear.
But naturally do to my own testimonies it not always easy to hear from God and see him through the storm when you are battling a mind that is sin conscious. Back to Matthew 14:27- But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid.” Good news my friend you don't have to have fear because your not a slave to sin anymore. You can cry out to your Daddy Jesus. As the word of God says Romans 8:15-The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[a] And by him we cry, “Abba,[b] Father.”Cast down that fear you are not a servant sin. Buck back to Matthew 14:28-“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” The Lord is calling you to draw even closer to him with your faith set oh him.As the word of God says in Hebrews 10:22- let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. The more you battle those thoughts of being aware of sin, let that motive you to draw close to Christ to be remind of who you are in Jesus. Back to Matthew 14:29-“Come,” he said.Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. Jesus does not cast away those who come to him. We are his children. As the word of God says in John 6:37-All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.Back to Matthew 14:30-But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Yeah that past will try to make you feel like it so true.That you still practice the same sin. It will oppress you . Like what happen to David in Psalm 55:1-3
Listen to my prayer, O God,
do not ignore my plea;
2
hear me and answer me.
My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught
3
because of what my enemy is saying,
because of the threats of the wicked;
for they bring down suffering on me
and assail me in their anger. Thoughts can bring your confidence down but Jesus wants are attention on him and not own on efforts. Matthew 14:31-immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” You don't have to have split mind that has you questioning your worth in the Lord. You are accept by the blood of Jesus. As the word of God says in Romans 3:24-and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Remember saints it is by his blood so come to life to his righteousness. As the word of God says in 1 Corinthians 15:34-Awake to soberness righteously, and sin not; for some have no knowledge of God: I speak this to move you to shame.And your mind will have more peace flowing in it when you look to Jesus who is your Righteousness. As the word of God says in Romans 8:6-For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace. God bless you and May Jesus grant you the grace to shun that evil conscience.In Jesus Name.AMen
