All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

This past weekend, I drew encouragement from a message shared among believers. I took note of a comparison to Jeremiah's struggle and witness. It made any personal difficulty seem very small in comparison.

Jeremiah 12:5 (NKJV)
" If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

If I have signed up for the battle, (and if I am a Christian that is making a difference for the Kingdom, then I am definitely in the battle) I want to be prepared. Here are five points to consider:

1. You haven't’t seen anything yet. - Don't’ worry it is going to get really bad!
2. As you run toward the destination - opposition escalates with authority
3. You need to train for the trial you are not yet in!
4. God puts to use what He puts us through.
5. Your strength will fail - God is calling you to do the impossible.

I understand that in my weakness, and when I submit to His will, I can participate in God's plans with greater fullness. I will be praying to follow His will and to be open to His voice as I seek the will of The Spirit of God in my life and toward the battles that are here now and destined for the future.

May we all benefit from the testimony of the weeping prophet Jeremiah and take God's wisdom that was delivered through Jeremiah into our hearts.
