Resolution for '2010: I MUST learn to draw my strength from CHRIST . . .

"Not that I've already obtained it, or have already become perfect, but I press on in order that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus . . . I press onward th goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." [Philippians 3:12-14]

I will win because I keep the finish-line clearly in mind. In fact, the gospel should be my consuming passion. Like Moses and Paul (Heb 11:24-26), I MUST be looking toward the reward!

FOCUS IS EVERYTHING:
Our best example is Christ Himself. "Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." (Heb 12:2).

We SHOULD all state our goals, our MOST fervent ambitions!
We MUST strive toward that which will endure!

Today I will remember the goal; I WILL focus on Christ no matter what the storm might come my way!"
