REJOICE

Phil 4:4

 Rejoice in the Lord i will say it again rejoice , in other scriptures it says ask and it shall be given ,for  your joy to be full,   why do JESUS want us to rejoice ?  what is behind this joy ? is it really neccessary ?  dont you think there is something important here .
