All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I love you Lord, and I lift my voice to worship you... oh my soul rejoice! Take pride my King in what you hear! May it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear...

After reading all my friend's replies to my somewhat desperate letter, I could't help remembering this old chorus we used to sing in my church. It is true that the Lord lives in our praises! I have had so much cause to praise and worship Him through the years for the many blessings that He had so lovingly showered upon me. How often do we remember to just praise Him, not just for our answered prayers, but also for just praising Him because He is God? To think that a Great and Mighty God loved His creation so much, in spite of us failing and disapointing Him time and time again, that he sent His Son...IT'S BEYOND ALL COMPREHENSION! Us weak humans cannot even dream to love as unconditionally. Yes we try, but we fail. And the most astounding truth is that He knows and understands that we do not have it in us to be able to love like that...and yet He still love us, bless us, take care of us...

Thank you Lord that You came and sacrificed Yourself for our sake. Thank you Lord that You thought it good to create us, despite the fact that we so often fail You. Thank you Lord for always being there, in good and bad times. Thank you Lord that You hear our pleas and move in our lives when we really did nothing to deserve it. Thank you Lord, that You will also hear my deperate prayer for my sister. Thank you Lord for blessing me with my wonderfull brothers and sisters in Christ.
Amen
