All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Tonight was Halloween night. I know that the kids get excited about certain scary stuff. However, I think Halloween can cause a little bad than good. I spent the whole day preparing the "perfect" Halloween party for my step-children. They invited some friends over. Well, around 7:00 p.m. a mother came into my house holding my baby which is a small yorki dog. I have owned this dog for over five years with no health problems. She ran over my dog with her car. I was furious. She claimed it was an accident but still it hurt a lot to see my sweet dog on his way to death. I tore out of my costume and grabbed my dog and headed to the 24 hour emergency vet. My husband stayed with all the kids so they could continue w/their "Halloween" party. Tonight has been terrible. My dog is in the hospital tonight and his hips have been fractured. Please pray for my dog. He is my buddy. I plan to visit him first thing in the morning. I will keep u guys posted about Mr.Addie my yorkie. Thanks for the prayers!!!!!!!!!!!!

More news about Addie-he is a very strong dog wo loves everybody. He trusts everybody too. On Halloween night, a lady ran him over with her car. I was very upset. Itook him straight to the emergency vet clinic who informed me that Addie's only chance of survival was a surgery. I took Addie to Tuskegee Institute where he had four surgeons. They put my dog together. He has undergone a lot for a dog but with antibotics and pain meds he has really improved. Just twos ago, he started walking. I can't believe it-my dog survived the accident and is not disabled. The Tuskegee doctors call me everyday to check on Addie. They want to see Addie in two weeks for physical therapy. Yes, our Lord Jesus performs miracles and watches over animals.

I just came back from Alabama. It took Mr.Addie and I about two hours travel time. We woke-up around 7:00 a.m. I got him all snuggles in his basket with extra blankets bc it was cold outside. I had his bag with his baby bottle filled with water and his medication. As we traveled to Alabama, Addie just sat there and looked very sad.
When we arrived at Tusgekee Institute, I took him into the main office. We waited about twenty minutes and then four vet surgeons took Addie and me into a office. The primry vet surgeon checked his body especially his hip, hind legs, etc. Addie has suffereed from a few fractures and a couple of his bones have been broken. The vet surgeon tol me the risks involved with the surgery. I gave all four doctors approval to give Addie his surgery. He will be gone for a week and a half. As I was leaving the room I left his rabbit and blanket. I told Addie that mama will be back soon to pick him up. He just looked at me and it looked like he was smiling at me.

Wow-Jen what a beautiful prayer/poem. U are a very good writer! A little update with Mr.Addie-he is doing a little better this evening. My husband and I had to take him back to the doctor this evening. He had some pain this afternoon. But this evening, the doctor gave him some medicaton. He is sleeping right now. We have to leave in the morning around 8:00 and drive all the way to Alabama. Think I will stop and get some coffee along the way. My husband would go but of course he has to travel and take care of things. Addie and I will spend the whole day in Alabama. Anyway, thank-you for your constant prayers. I will keep u updated on his progress.
Faithfully Yours,
Mr.Addie, Tonya, and Ron:)

Just a little update on Addie. He is home now-thank-God!!! He is sleeping in his laundry basket with his rabbit. He will be going to Tuskegee Institute for his surgery. He had a little lunch earlier. He can drink water from a baby bottle. He can use his front two legs and I used a blanket to support his hind legs so he can walk a little. His hips should heal after the surgery. Hopefully, he will be able to walk again. Continue to pray for Addie and once again thank-you for all the prayers and compassion.
Yours Faithfully,
Mr.Addie, Tonya, and Ron
