All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Paul’s Prayer for Spiritual Growth
14 When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, 15the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. 16 I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. 17 Then Christ will make His home in your hearts as you trust in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 20Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. 21 Glory to Him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. Eph 3:14-21 Wow this is a Prayer! Here we have Paul asking God, 18 “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.” As we humble ourselves before the Lord and accept all the things the Spirit has for us. Through experiences we learn to trust in Him. When the wind blows against the trees, its roots push deeper. So as with us, as we encounter life and all that it has for us. Our roots grow down as we are put into places that we receive the Love of God. As trials are opportunities to learn about the Love that is in Christ. As we seek to know Him in a more perfect way. Because He lives in us, we hunger and thirst after His Righteous. That hunger and thirst can only be satisfied by learn more about Him, by seeking Him in our needs. How many times have we felt so very far away? At the bottom of a very large hole. Maybe you have felt as if a chism is between you and everything else. As though there no hope left. You might of tried everything the world has to offer, only to discover the emptiness that goes with all of those things. And then you call out to God, “And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.” Maybe you realize this after you have been walking with Him for sometime. And, you have a need that only God can fill. His Love for us is without measure. We are told to ask Matt 7:7 "Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.” 1John 5:15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for. Let us have the confidence in His Word; in His Love for us. Do whatever you need to do until you have what you are needing. The enemy is trying to steal any and everything you have. It is trying to steal your hope and joy, it is trying to steal your confidence in Him. We have His Word about these things. I know it can be difficult, so does He. We Must hold on to our Faith in Him. What else do we have? Many of us are in a place that only His Grace and Mercy can rescue us. We are in a place that Only He can help us. “I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.”
“ May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Let it be so that we stand in agreement with this Prayer and receive all that He has and will do for us. In Jesus Holy Name Amen and Amen!

Truly great, isn't it ... "From His glorious unlimited resources". What a great friend to have! Surely He'll empower us with "inner strength through His Spirit". If His resources are so unlimited, we shall lack nothing! We have no reason to be scared of the ills of this world, for He'll grant us whatever we ask in Jesus'name!. I say Amen to that, brother.
God bless you.
