All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

A detained pastor of a major network of Christian house churches in Iran will be executed by hanging for "apostasy", or abandoning Islam, according to translated court documents seen by Worthy News Wednesday, November 24.

We must lift up this brother and those around him.  Whatever God has for him, Wisdom will lead him, those who follow him in the Lord, us in how we pray, respond to this.  As a Church and as a Family we have a responsibility to all.  This effects Our Body, so let it not be said that, we turned our heads to this or what is coming.

The written verdict was "officially officially handed out" Tuesday, November 23, said a source of Nadarkhani's evangelical Church of Iran...

Under Iranian law, once the written verdict is delivered, there will be 20 days to appeal to the Islamic Republic's Supreme Court.

Brother Chris,

Gives real reason for Ephesians 6:18, " Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverence and supplication for all saints.". Amen.

And, Nancy, I totally agree - "in ever so suble ways...........". It is happening here.

Grace and Peace.

An unnamed source close to Nadarkhani's attorney, Mohammed Ali Dadkhah, told NCLJ

that a judge has agreed to overturn Nadarkhani's death sentence, but the report could not be independently confirmed.

Even if the sentence is overturned, Jordan Sekulow, the executive director of the ACLJ, said the message is that it would be unlikely that Nadarkhani would be set free.

Nadarkhani is the latest Christian cleric to be imprisoned in Iran for his religious beliefs. According to Elam Ministries, a United Kingdom-based organization that serves Christian churches in Iran, there was a significant increase in the number of Christians arrested solely for practicing their faith between June 2010 and January 2011. A total of 202 arrests occurred during that six-month period, including 33 people who remained in prison as of January, Elam reported.
