1. God's expectations of forgiveness are beyond human understanding. (V.22)

2. We will all be brought before the judgement seat of God. (V.23)

3. Individual books of account will be opened. (V.24)

4. God will exact a price for all our actions. (V.25)

5. We will cry out to God in our moment of deep affliction. (V.26)

6. God in his grace will blot out our sins. (V.27)

7. God delights in mercy and not judgement. (V.28)

8. God expects compassion as he has shown compassion to us. (V.29)

9. Our harsh and tyrannical behaviour will snag us. (V.30)

10. Our unrelenting inhumaneness will cause God's wrath to be invoked on us. (V.31)

11. God will call to account our pitiless cruelty. (V.32)

12. God expects extensive mercy from us in our dealings with our fellow humans. (V.33)

13. God will afflict us with acts of great torment if we do not display clemency. (V.34)

14. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. (V.35)
