Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30) - NIV

1. We are stewards and God is the owner of everything. (V.14)

2. God gives different talents and abilities to mankind. (V.15)

3. God given talents need to be multiplied. (V.16,17)

4. Some people bury and do not use their talents for the glory of God. (V.18)

5. God expects a return on his investment in us. (V.19)

6. Faithfulness will be rewarded by God. (V.20, 21,22,23)

7. Unfaithfulness to God's purpose will be reprimanded and punished by God. (V.24, 25, 26, 27)

8. Those who move out in faith will be given additional rewards. (V.28)

9. Abundance begets bounty, poverty begets lack. (V.29)

10. Worthlessness will be consigned to darkness and eternal damnation. (V.30)
