All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Now that is love!

He is Gentleman
He is confident
He is a provider and protector
He is rich and powerful
He owns everything, there is nothing He wouldn't do for me
HE perfects all things concerning me
He anticipates my wants and needs
Everyday He tells me and shows me how much HE loves me
I dont have to perform in order to earn His love
He accepts me the way I am
He doesn't wish I was someone else because He knows that I am unique
He doenst expect me to do things above my abilities but strenghten me to do what I can to my best!
He doesn't compare me to another woman that He thinks is smarter than me
He is faithful and loyal
He keeps all of His promises
No one can inlfuence His opinion of me
He is the ultimate intimate partner
He can't 'disown' me because I am a part of Him
HE prepares a table before me
He covers me and doesn't expose me
He wrote His loving words down so that I'll never forget how HE feels about me!!!
Now that is LOVE!

I read this passage and i thought, wow Lord! this is just a fracture of who you really are!! But Lord thank You for your amazing love, no wonder women can find rest, peace and tender love in Your loving arms
And I silently wonder, our earthly men, have lot of lessons to learn from the Lord, HE is a great example how to be the best partner, although we can never be that perfect but may that be a goal for our men.
May our women have a goal as well, to be the best they can be, to deserve such amazing love!
And i pray :
Father thank you for being all this and more to me!
I love You Lord!!!

Comment by Marilyn M. on May 6, 2010 at 8:48am: When I'm feeling alone and unloved, I can go to my beautiful meditative "garden" and He is always there waiting for me to give me hugs, wash me clean from all the world's dirt, cover me in His righteousness, give me more hugs, let me sit on His lap, and show me His love. We don't even have to talk much....He knows how I feel.

God is at work in this world and I can tell you from my own experience he is all of these wonderful examples of Love. If we turn to the Lord and give our selfs to him he will make in us "good and faithful servants". To Love others as we would have them love us. God's love is so powerful.More men need to admit their need "to be loved".God show us all the way to serving you in the name of Jesus. Amen
