All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I don't want Satan to outwit us. After all, we are not ignorant about Satan's scheming 2Cor 2:11
The enemy knows who and what you are to God. It knows what we are good at better, then we know most of the time. So it will work hard at making us feel insecure, in areas we are the most threat to it. Or, it will try to allure us into things we were never meant for. By telling the elbow, “look at the hand, see how it can move all different ways, the hand is so much better the you.” Soon the elbow will refuse to bend, until the hand gives it the credit that it deserve. And depending how humble the hand is, it may get prideful and begin to mock the elbow. “What can you do, bend one way, big deal.” By now the enemy can just step back and the body is doing it’s work. You can see and figure out all the scenario’s.
God's purpose was that the body should not be divided but rather that all of its parts should feel the same concern for each other. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts share its suffering. If one part is praised, all the others share in its happiness. 1Cor 12:25-26
All parts must look out for each other. Instead of feeling insecure, or arrogant we are to be aware of the enemy and all of it’s schemes. And together we stand , against the enemy, in the Name of Jesus.

Should have said that the message that I added to my posting came from another friend on AAG. When I received it I thought then that this has to be shared.

Blessings to you all.

Chris, excellent analogy. Yet again things come to pass as we were only talking about the different parts of the body in our service on Sunday and then seeing your blog!! Amazing how things fit together.

We continually ask God to fill us with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that we may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that we may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of his people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Thats a great point Chris - how the hand and the elbow should work together. We should all be open to learning (through humility) how to work together in the body. Thanks for sharing brother.
