“Nobody sews a piece of unshrunken cloth on an old coat.” Mt.9:16

Reflection:

   The old and the new “unshrunken,” flesh and the spirit, are incompatible. Therefore, any reconciliation between them is useless.

   If, according to God’s wishes, one must become a new self, then the old, earthly self must first be eliminated through prayer, penance, and a complete inner transformation.

Prayer:

   “Lord, create in me a new heart, a new spirit, and a new understanding. Let me ever rejoice in You. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN!!!”
