                                         IN THE STILLNESS OF THIS HOUR

In the stillness of this hour Lord we come before your throne

We long to feel your presence and worship you alone

The needs we have are many but you said you'd meet them all

When we bow our knees before you and on your name we call

Some of us need peace of mind for struggles that we face

Others need your mighty strength to help them run the race

Some need your forgiveness and some need to just feel loved

Some need your Holy Spirit to come down from above

No matter what our needs are you promised to provide

When we need a shelter in your arms you let us hide
