hearing the cry of the people

hello everyone, my name is jose ocasio, and iam just new to this site. this blog is about what happened to me this past saturday. I think God everyday, because he always teaches me new things, concerning his word. The bible says that we must be HOLY. we must seperate ourselves from the things of the world. we can easily be swayed by the business of this life, and not do the things that GOD has called us to do. unfortunetly we in our culture have become more of a me centered, and my needs to be met now kind of church. in all the busyness of the life we forget what Christ commanded his church to do.(Matt 28:19,20) the command is to go.....its not to invitie people to church or a good meeting. our main goal is to preach a gospel of repentance, besides doing that we need to live it by example. this past saturday my self and a group from the ministry team that iam involved with helped train some students from nyack college on evangelism then we hit the streets. we did some open air preaching and distributed Gospel tracts. the testimonies i heard blessed me because for the most part some of those students came out of their comfort zones, and did something they said they never experienced. it was witnessing one 2 one....we encouraged them to continue coming out and planting the seed of the gospel in the city. we are called to serve. worship does not involve singing songs. or getting enmeshed in church activiities.......its coming out of your comfort zone, even if its giving a gospel tract to someone. please i encourage you get out of the church walls. proclaim the gospel. do not water it down, preach it with conviction we must warn this generation that unless they repent they will be in hell for eternity....GOD bless you..........www.soulfishingministries.org
