HE IS THE GOD OF TODAY

"This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it." ( Psalm 118:12 )

" He again fixes a certain day, "Today," saying through David after so long a time just as has been said before, "TODAY IF YOU HEAR HIS VOICE, DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS."
DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEARTS AS WHEN THEY PROVOKED ME, AS IN THE DAY OF TRIAL IN THE WILDERNESS." ( Hebrews 3:15, Hebrews 4:7-8 )

Do you need more confidence for something specific in your life today?

We can gain confidence in knowing that God has chosen us, and equipped us for everything we may face in life today. It does not matter what we may be facing because He is the God of our today.

For many of us the present, ( Today ) seemed to disappear between the past and the future.

"So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ( Matthew 6:3 )

Living our lives worrying about the past, or the future will keep us from the abundant life that God has promised us in our today's.

We need so much to understand how much God loves us, and and how much He desires to empower us throughout our today. He wants to bring us out stronger at the end of this day, and He wants to take us to higher places today, but this can't be accomplished if we are living out our lives in the past or in the future.

Our soul can find refuge, and a shelter in the LORD, which means we can rest, even in the middle of the storms of life that we may encounter in our today.

So let us take simple step of obedience in faith today, and begin to thank God for working our life. Thank Him for the confidence that He has promised to give us. Remember, God is at work on our behalf, and that He will fill our heart's with peace, confidence, and power to move forward into our today.

THIS DAY HAS NEVER HAPPENDED BEFORE

Here I am in the stillness of the early morning dawn. I look out my window and I see the rising of the sun coming up over the distant mountains.
My window being slightly opened allows the fresh morning air into my room, it is then that I find myself in awe.
“This day has never happened before,” I think to myself. “In all the history of the Earth this day has never dawned before.”
As I begin to pondered about the great potential of this new day, I am filled with hope and faith. Absolutely anything can happen today, and with each and every new sunrise there is a new hope.
Maybe today is the day that a heart's desire may be realized, deliverance could come at last,
freedom could become a reality today, and this could be the day that a broken heart may be mended, or a relationship restored.
The obstacles that have held someone back for years may be removed, maybe the tears have lasted through the long, dark night, but with this new day comes joy to fill our cup to overflowing.


So may God help us all to live in a hopeful expectation as we enter into each new day. Only God knows what the day may bring, but in it all he will be with us.

We can all be assured that one day, if we are one of His children, that we will close our eyes and wake up in a new day in His glorious kingdom with Him forever.

He is truly the God of the new day, and this is the day that he has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Prayer

Father God you desire us to embrace our today, help us not to be caught up with all the “what ifs” of the past, and help us not to get caught up in the “maybes” of the future. But Father help us to live in our today's as you intended us to to do. You truly are the God of my today and this is the day that you have made, therefore I rejoice and will be glad in it. In Jesus name amen
