GODSurfer Windows 7 Phone App!

About 2 months ago I purchased a brand new Windows 7 phone.  As I mentioned before, I am a programmer by trade.  So I got this phone so I could write “Apps” on it.  Well around Christmas time I wrote a free app that is GODSurfer related.  Basically it is really simple.  The app displays the current Prayers listed on the site and allows the users of the app. to add their own prayer.

As you may or may not know, when a prayer is added.  Both the Facebook GODSurfer page and the @GODSurfer twitter account gets updated with those prayers.  My hope is that there are people online that will pray for the people that submit prayers.  Like a prayer chain.

I released this app. on 12/30/2010 and the reporting states that in 2 days time it has been downloaded 31 times.  Considering my other apps haven’t even broken the 20 download mark yet, this is really exciting.  So if you are following GODSurfer on Facebook or Twitter and you start seeing more and more prayers come through, now you know why.
