*God's Way is Victory*
"He holds victory in store for the upright, He is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones" (Proverbs 2:7-8, NIV).
On a daily basis our number one enemy, or best friend can be ourselves, toward ourselves. Within our occupations, our personal lives, and just life in its self , our attitude and thoughts can determine our success, or failure in our efforts trying to meet the daily needs within our positions. In my Bible there are scriptures that inform us of how God gives us wisdom and victory to meet the challenges in our day. Upon receiving these gifts of wisdom and victory, we have been entrusted to use them for His purpose, and not to drift through life being irresponsible in the mission He has laid out before us.
If we are sincere to please our Father, nothing can penetrate the shield of protection that He has placed around us. In the scripture above it states, "He guards the course of the just and protects the way of His faithful ones", how comforting it is knowing that through His love there is absolutely nothing that will harm His faithful ones. Fervently, in my understanding of this, this means Satan can not do a thing to us because God does not lie. Therefore, all we have to do is keep our eyes on Him, and be sensitive to His leading as we go forth into victory.
As we face our challenges, or difficulties, we can get so overwhelmed that we can try and fix what God has already planned. Within our minds, we must focus on standing firm in our faithfullness because He has promised what the outcome will be, and it will always result in total victory! However, we can still fall into doubt, fear, anxiety, and question our ability in going forward toward conqueroring the given circumstances. While falling into these negative thoughts, Satan loves to play games in our minds as he knows our minds can be manipulated for negativity. He wants us to fail so he can think we have moved away from God's Will, but what he fails to understand is that every trying circumstance makes us stronger to keep moving forward back to God if we drift away, and we will gain more strength than what we previously had.
In our weak moments, we may feel all alone and undeserving of His love. These emotions can come about when things fail to line up in the way we believe they should. If all our prayers were answered in the way we wanted, there would be no reason to have God directing us, but when they are answered in God's way, we always move forward gaining more wisdom and appreciation than what we had before we entered into the situation. Eventually, we can come to have peace and joy as we go through our challenges after we learn and come to the acceptance that each process is teaching us something new. Mature wisdom does not come overnight, but through a constant process of growing. This is why it is so important that we persevere in our faith daily, and when we do, we will continue to see miracles unfold before our eyes. In return, we will get stronger and much wiser in our faith, and will come to learn that regardless of any difficulty, it is just a matter of time that His leading will make our circumstances line up with His Will.
Before our conception, God knew every person, and every circumstance we would face. Everyone of His children have weaknesses, and experience disappointments that can give birth to doubts. However, in His love, He has always opened other doors for us, in case we failed in the initial situation, just so we could regain our faith, trust, belief, and love in Him for our restoration. Therefore, take hold of Him today, and know He has set out your course for victory in every aspect of your life! There is no other joy than knowing that being under His grace and leading that we are victorious, and there is nothing that can stop us from being conquerors. We are never alone, and when we think we are, it is a lie. We have brothers and sisters that God has blessed us with, and He shows Himself through fellow believers in so many ways. In times we feel alone, we are not alone because He is still with us, and all we have to do is reach out to HIm in prayer.
While speaking to a mentally challenged fellow one time, he was concerned about his prayer life, and was under the impression there would have to be two or more gathered together for the Holy Spirit to hear and answer his prayers. I asked him if he always prayed alone, and as a result of his understanding, he would always wait for another to join him. At this point, I asked him, "Well if you are there, and if God is there with you, then don't you think there are two of you there?" He agreed, then I said to him, 'well if you two are together that means there are two of you there, so if you two agree in prayer then He shall answer your prayer". This was a trying situation for this man, but taking the time to speak with him was the first step forward to victory for this simple and challenged man.
There are no definitions to define what a challenge is for anyone because of the diverse society we live in. One challenge to one may seem foolish to another, but in God's eyes they are all equal. Therefore, if we continue to pursue Godliness, then we must be sensitive to another's challenge, in the same way we want others to be sensitive to ours.
God Bless,
