All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

GOD IS INDEED LOVE!!!! HE LOVES US SO MUCH THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.!!
PERSONALLY I HAVE ALWAYS CONCENTRATED MOST ON GOD'S LOVE FOR US IN A LOT OF THE BLOGS HE HAS PUT ON MY HEART TO WRITE FOR HIS GLORY.
I AM NOW CLOSE TO TWO YEARS IN MY PERSONAL WALK IN THE PATH HE HAS CHOSEN FOR ME IN MY LIFE.
HE HAS SHOWN ME NOW, WHAT I WAS JUST NOT UNDERSTANDING UNTIL JUST RECENTLY.
I DID NOT EVEN WANT TO THINK OF THE WARRING SIDE OF BEING A CHRISTIAN.
I NOW SEE THAT GOD LOVES US SO MUCH HE HAS GIVEN US THE TOOLS TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD WHERE THE ENEMY ROAMS.GOD IS OUR GREAT PROTECTOR AND IT IS UP TO US TO PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR THAT HE HAS PROVIDED FOR US.

For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood], but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds.
2 Corinthians 10: 3-4

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset--rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. 1 Peter 5: 8-9

Blessed be the Lord, my Rock and my keen and firm Strength, Who teaches my hands to war and my fingers to fight Psalm 144: 1

Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. Ephesians 6: 11

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6: 12(NKJV)

Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God. Ephesians 6: 14

You shall not fear them, for the Lord your God shall fight for you. Deuteronomy 3: 22

Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.
1 Timothy 6: 12

I have fought the good (worthy, honorable, and noble) fight, I have finished the race, I have kept (firmly held) the faith.
2 Timothy 4: 7

[And indeed] the Lord will certainly deliver and draw me to Himself from every assault of evil. He will preserve and bring me safe unto His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
2 Timothy 4: 18

[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]. Colossians 2: 15

My God, my Rock, in Him will I take refuge; my Shield and the Horn of my salvation; my Stronghold and my Refuge, my Savior--You save me from violence. 2 Samuel 22: 3

I call on the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
2 Samuel 22: 4

So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. James 4: 7

So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives]. Isaiah 59: 19

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
~ 1 John 4:4 (NKJV)

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
~ 1 John 5:4-5 (NKJV)

But thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory [making us conquerors] through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15: 57

But thanks be to God, Who in Christ always leads us in triumph [as trophies of Christ's victory] and through us spreads and makes evident the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere. 2 Corinthians 2: 14

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD. ~ Isaiah 54:17 (NKJV)

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. ~ Luke 10:19 (

John Chapter 5:1-12

Faith is Victory over the World

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is begotten by God, and everyone who loves the father loves [also] the one begotten by him. In this way we know that we love children of God when we love God and obey his commandments. For the love of God is this that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome, for whoever is begotten by God conquers the world. And the victory that conquers the world is our faith. Who [indeed] is the victor over the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the son of God?
This is the one who came through the water and blood, Jesus Christ, not by water alone, but by water and blood. The spirit is the one that testifies, and the Spirit is truth.
So there are three that testify, the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and the three are of one accord.
If we accept human testimony of God is surely greater. Now the testimony of God is this, that he has testified on behalf of his Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God has this testimony within himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar by not believing the testimony God has given about his son. Whoever possesses the Son has life; whoever does not possess the Son of God does not have life.

James 1: 2-11
The Value of trials and temptation
Perseverance in Trial
2 Consider it all joy my brothers, when you encounter various trials, 3 for* you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4. And let perseverance be perfect, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing
5.But if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly, and he will be given it.
6. But he should ask in faith, not doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind.
7. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,
8.Since he is a man of two minds, unstable in all his ways.
9. The brother in lowly circumstances should take pride in his high standing,
10 and the rich one in his lowliness, for he will pass away"like the flower of the field." For the sun comes up with its scorching heat and dries up the grass, its flower droops, and the beauty of its appearance vanishes. So will the rich person fade away in the midst of his pursuits.

Peter 1: 3-9

The Gift and Call of God in Baptism

Blessing
Blessed be the God Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled. and unfading, kept in heaven for you who by the power of God are safeguarded through faith, to a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the final time.
* In this you rejoice, although now for a little while you may have to suffer through various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor, at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Although you have not seen him you love him; even though you do not see him now yet believe in him, you rejoice with an indescribable glorious joy, as you attain the goal of [your] faith, the salvation of your souls.
