Getting God To Hear Us

1John5:14.... And this is the confidence that we have in him ,that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us. 5:15 and if we know he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desire.

When we go before God and Petition him ,

the word tells us if we know he hears us ,we know we have the desired result. There's been times I prayed and thought to myself : Well I know he heard me because I know he's God and he knows and hears all things , but that's not what the word teaches us. I believe the scripture heading means more than that. It's talking about making a connection. For example , if we fasten our cable wire to our television we will get service , because it made a connection. Have you ever been with someone riding in a car or whatever , and they were talking away to you , but you were in deep thought and didn't hear a thing they said. Or , perhaps you heard them , but still all you heard was jibberish. I believe that is what is being said in this scripture. God is hearing us [ but he didn't know what was said.] So , how do we get him to hear what was said ? The answer lies in [ if we ask anything according to his will] Now I know we've had some famous faith teachers that said they were going to be like Abraham and have a child at 100 years of age , just to prove faith works. That's not going to happen. God only needed one Abraham to fulfill his will , at that time frame. We cannot play with faith as though it were a toy. No , our guarantee for our petitions to be fulfilled , is getting God to hear us and then use our faith , and whatsoever we desire shall be granted. So , to make the connection with God is to ask according to his will in a peticular thing.

WHEN I FIRST BEGAN MY WALK I WOULD PRAY ,BUT BECAUSE I WAS SO NEW , I ALWAYS FELT THAT HE WOULD LISTEN TO ONES THAT WERE MORE ESTABLISHED THAN I THAN MYSELF. GOD DOES HEAR YOUR PRAYERS JUST AS HE HEARS THE SEASONED CHRISTIANS. WHAT WE ASK FOR AT TIMES MAY NOT BE IN HIS PERFECT TIMING OR HIS WILL AT THAT TIME. HIS WORD SAYS THAT HE PROVIDES ALL OF OUR NEEDS ACCORDING TO HIS WILL AND PUPOSE FOR OUR LIVES. IT ENCOMPASSES TIMING, HIS WILL AND PURPOSE. IF WE NEED A VEHICLE AND WE ONLY MAKE $400/MO AND WE ASK FOR A RED BMW, HE KNOW WE CAN'T AFFORD THAT, HE GIVES US WHAT WE CAN AFFORD. THE KEY IS HAVING AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR FATHER. THERE ARE MANY TIMES I WALK AROUND THE HOUSE TALKING TO HIM NO DIFFERENT THAN I WOULD TO MY EARTHLY FATHER. BEING THAT HE WANTS TO BE FIRST IN EVERYTHING, I MAKE SURE WE GO SHOPPING TOGETHER OR WHATEVER. I ALWAYS PRAY FOR FAVOR FOR A PARKING SPACE BECAUSE I HAVE LOW BACK PAIN AND HE ALWAYS PROVIDES. I WATCHED HIM MOVE AMAZINGLY WHEN MY HOUSE FLOODED, NOTHING LIKE HAVING YOUR FATHER GO SHOPPING WITH YOU!!!!! RIGHT DOWN TO PAINT COLORS, THE TINIEST DETAILS!!!!!! NOT TO MENTION THE PEOPLE HE PLACED IN MY PATH AND THE SALES!!!! IT WAS SOMETHING, WHAT AN ADVENTURE!!!!!! YES, GOD IS TRULY AMAZING!!! HE KNOWS WHAT YOU HAVE NEED OF BEFORE YOU EVEN ASK!!! I LOOK BACK AND I SEE HOW FAR HE HAS BROUGHT ME AND I AM TRULY AT AWE!!! WE ALWAYS GO THROUGH TIMES WHERE WE HAVE TO WAIT, AND THIS CAN BE VERY HARD, BUT THIS PRODUCES FAITH AND INDURANCE. DO I GET FRUSTRATED AT TIMES, YES I DO. BUT I KEEP MY FOCUS ON JESUS AND I ALSO LET HIM KNOW HOW I FEEL, HE ALREADY KNOW THIS TOO. HE LOVES HIS CHILDREN TO BE HONEST. YES IT'S OKAY TO LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU ARE UPSET BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN WAITING AND WAITING. SO I ENCOURAGE YOU ALL TO DEVLOP THAT INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER, I HAVE NEVER FELT SO LOVED AND CARED FOR. HE IS MY EVERYTHING HE ALWAYS PROVIDES AND MEETS MY NEEDS AND YES HE WILL GIVE HIS CHIKDREN THE DESIRES OF THEIR HEART. EVEN WE HUMANS AS WICKED AS WE ARE KNOW HOW TO GIVE OUR CHILDREN GOOD THINGS, HOW MUCH MORE IS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER GOING TO BLESS US. JUST READ HIS WORD, PRAY FOR GODLY WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING AND HE WILL SHOW YOU. LOOK AT JOB, HOW HE BLESSED HIM BACK. SO TRUST HIM AND LOVE HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART, YOUR SOUL AND BEING, FOR HE CARES AND LOVES YOU SO MUCH
