Forgive

"The love of God enables me to release the past and forgive myself and others."

FORGIVE

Why is it sometimes easier for me to forgive others than it is for me to forgive myself?  Rather than carry a burden of guilt with me wherever I go, I am learning to release the past and forgive myself by turning everything over to God in prayer.

"Thank You, God, for helping me understand that by forgiving myself I am recognizing that whatever happened was an opportunity for me to learn from mistake.  And I am grateful that I will not have to repeat it."

"Dear God, I know that through Your loving spirit within me, I have tyhe strength to release the past and forgive myself fully and completely."
