Embracing sin

  Embracing sin,  What would that look like exactly,  have we become so easily complacent with the sin around and in our own lives, it has become more like a normalcy?   How is it that we fail attempt after attempt to overcome the very thing that drives us to repentence in the first place...  I have often been witness to such,  that has led so many into this path of, embracing sin...One only needs to read scriptures to see this pattern all through out  history...  I like the way D Brian Schafer explains sin,   He writes, Pride erases boundaries of reason...Pride erases the boundaries set up by God, once violated, moves one farther away from the ability to rationalize and behave in a controlled manner...Such as some, the wanting to be right, overcome the need to be truthful..The outcome, one is neither right nor truthful..Pride is a poor loser....The very sin beneath the sin,  we all know it and perhaps never believe it so of  our own lives,, We all know pride is the very thing that sent  Lucifer tumbling from the the very presence of God. Pride  is the very center of so much of our sin that we perhaps mask in so many other colors.
