Did anyone really know just how I felt today

Could you tell something may be wrong by things I would say

All I really wanted was not to feel left out

I longed to know I was loved and deeply cared about

Please don't misunderstand me I'm not blaming anyone

I just wish I'd known the truth before I did what I had done

I wish you'd spent more time with me and got to know my friends

I wish you'd made me tell you exactly where I'd been

I have a word of warning I hope you will take heed

Parents pay attention to what your children need

And children I say this to you, if you think this was fun

Consider all the pain I left because of what I've done

If you're feeling like I did I urge you not to wait

Get the help you need today before it is too late
