Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
This is a long-ish post, but I ask that you bear with me - PLEASE - hang in there to the end.
It is extremely important for you and your loved ones - you will see why.
If you are too busy - then print it and read it later - but PLEASE read this.
I am writing this to you, because for a while now I have had a heavy burden on my heart and I pray that you will receive this message with the love in which I write it.
I know I may lose friends here and that I will offend some. I apologise for this, but I cannot idly stand by and watch God’s people be deceived!
Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...
In our everyday lives we tend to use ignorance as an excuse – God’s Word does not work like that. Ignorance is not an excuse – you will die because of lack of knowledge
Let me start by just clarifying one thing. Satan hates you. This is not a joke. He will lie, deceive, flatter and even send his minions to serve you just to get you to fall.
John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...
Satan is also no fool! He has been around for longer than you and I can even imagine and he was one of God’s most powerful angels.
What does this mean to you? This means that he is extremely sly! You cannot trick him!! You cannot out-think him! Only through the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit will you be able to resist him.
Satan is not dumb; he is not going to use the obvious to make you fall. He will slowly soften your heart and slowly bring things into your lives that are borderline. Then he will continue to push the boundaries until you step into “small sins” or as we like to label them “innocent fun”. I mean who likes that horrid word “sin” anyway.
I watch God’s people dabble in things that give satan a legal foothold. I watch them play with things as if it is all a game – they label it “innocent fun” and love saying things like “I just do it for fun”, “I do not take it seriously”, etc.
It’s a war! Not a game! Read the scriptures. It talks of taking up our armour, it talks about waging war against principalities and it talks about fighting the good fight.
Those are words of war! This is not a joke!!!
Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Eph 6:14-19 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
2 Time 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith
There are MANY MANY more scriptures – this is a war.
So, what am I on about? Let me ask you these quick questions:
*** Have you calculated your daily luck today?
*** Have you read your horoscope yet?
*** Did you get your fix of your online psychic prediction yet?
If I left my wallet in your house; that by law (in most countries anyway) gives me the right to go into your house and fetch my wallet should you refuse to give it to me. These things in your life or the lives of your friends and family gives satan a legal right to cling to you, attack you, torment you and even use you! Yes, you heard me right. Satan uses you because your friends and family who admire you will also be led to do these things!
If you are still reading, then I thank the Lord and pray that the rest of this message will set you free or equip you to set others free.
Most people will say its innocent fun, etc – I hope I have made it clear that it’s not a game. The next most common thing is that “It’s those extreme Christians”, “God does not really care about that stuff”, etc.
Well, I am not going to paste every scripture on this topic – but below are a few that I hope will open the eyes of those who have been blinded by the enemy.
Isaiah 47:13 – “All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up
Lev 19:31 Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God
1 Chr 10:13 Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance
When you say “and even” it is usually to point out the worst of what someone did!
Just search the Bible for the word “medium” and read all the warnings! You can easily do this at a site like www.Biblegateway.com
I have also been shocked to hear that many Christians do not see a problem with Ouija boards, Tarot cards, palm reading, etc.
Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer
You cannot read the above scripture and condone these things as being innocent fun with no consequences. If you are not convicted, I again urge you to search for words like “sorcerer, divination, fortune/s”, etc.
I have also been told that I am ignorant because there is clearly power in these things. I AGREE! There is power in these things! You just need to realize the source is NOT God! It is the enemy giving you power and manifesting power, so that he can fulfil that age old desire of lust after power! He is trapping you!
Do not tolerate these things in your life and be found to be lukewarm on the day of judgement.
Rev 3:16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth
You now have the knowledge to be set free. You decide now what to do with it.
I pray that you received this with love and that you will be set free from the lies satan as told you. I pray that you will be able to set others free from these lies by being bold and courageous. Do not stand by and let you loved ones perish!

Take up your cross today and spread this link/note no matter the cost of your earthly life. Your Father in heaven is the only approval you ever need.
Ps. If you really want to be courageous - go read about the origins of "dream catchers", "wind chimes", etc. You then decide whether you want to have them as "just nice ornaments". Whether you believe in their power and what they attract is not the point. Satan believes in it and that is all he needs

2 Timothy 2:15 says; '' Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth."
Rightly dividing the word of truth. The Revised Version reads, Handling aright. The Greek word orthotomeo means, literally, cutting straight. The thought, probably, is to present the truth clearly, truthfully, without blunders, and with an exactness which cannot be gainsaid.
Ephesians 1:13 Paul said; " In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation-- having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise,"
John 8:31-32 John wrote; " So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
The enemy of our soul only has power over us by the lies that we believe. He is a master at getting us to believe his lies. A big lie is the whole astrological cult. I think that jenniecarroll thomas-Rule when you said, "Astrology" might work" could be a true statement in that the enemy could manipulate circumstances to make it appear that it was true statement.
This is why on our own we will not be able to discern the truth from a lie without the Word of God and the Holy Spirit guiding us. We also have principles in scripture such as a need for others to help us to make sure we are walking in the truth and not falling prey to deception.
The enemy seeks to counterfeits the things of God because remember his aspiration is to be like the Most High (Isaiah 14:14) (2 Thessalonians 2:4) So we can see him promoting his own form of spiritual gifts. Astrology is just that, a counterfeit of the gift of the Holy Spirit.

It is how teachers who are annointed by God to be teachers are supposed to teach JennieCarroll.It is VERY CLEAR that the bible tells us NOT to go anywhere near divination.I have seen this week in the Christian world where many are. It is a loving gesture and our duty and pleasure out of love for our Family in Christ to be our brothers keeper and gently remind them of these things USING SCRIPTURE. Young Christians especially who are just starting their walks with our Lord are usually not developed enough yet in their walk with our LOrd yet to HEAR his voice.and I say this out of love to you dear sis. It is VERY clear the scriptures above that we are NOT to worship idols.You say "Astrology" might work? It is divination sister,it is a HUGE crack for satan.

Thank you for your comments and your article Bob. We read about apostasy ... falling away ... false prophets during the endtimes. We are warned to know them by their fruits. These men are preaching a dominion theology( Kingdom Now). They have 'apostles' all over the US and Europe. They are saying that this event in Poplar Bluff, Mo is going to bring about the biggest move of God that will reach all across this country. Jesus taught and we know by His teaching that the Kingdom of God is not of this world. I felt led to warn the shepherds ... many have already joined in this effort. I was told by one pastor that "The Lord wants us to be unified" ... Yes but in truth. One pastor was aware of the 'destiny code' and still is supporting this 'revival.' He is praying that God will turn it around for His glory. Yes, I would like to pray that prayer too but Jesus warned to come out from among them and that light and darkness do not mix (2 Cor 6:14-18). My prayer is that the truth will surface as it is our Lord's will that no one perish. I hear in my spirit ,"Woe to the shepherds that scatter the sheep." I am burdened for anyone who is caught up in this for it is a delusion. Jesus said you will know them by their fruits. I was shocked ... even though the Bible says it is going to happen ... I was still shocked. I was shocked because the support for this is coming from pastors. I know the bible says even the elect may be deceived ... well it is happening. I guess I would like to close with saying we should be working while there is still time to work.

I have a article I wrote called; Healing those who have gone through spiritual abuse that is located in my blog section. I wrote about how this church that I was a member of developed into a spiritually abusive cultic church and how to help others recover and unravel all the issues associated with going through this sort of thing.
They would use personality test to control the people. They would have some one complete a test and then like astrology define a person based upon the results of the test. It was no different than saying you are a certain way because of the time of the year you were born in astrology.
I have seen many variations of this sort of testing over the years, but if they are saying this is how a person is, then they are not taking into the account that the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in a life. Plus you could take these test and have different results based on your emotional state. So I encourage others to stay clear of this sort of stuff.
I have also noticed that when some one begins to drift away from the Lord that they tend to gravitate toward these kind of things like astrology, and mysticism.

Rebecca. What you say reminds me of our brother Bob B's testimony. I do believe Bob has it posted on here somewhere.I will go look for it and direct you to it. You will find what this guy calls a "destiny code" written about in our beloveds testimony.Even to call your fellow family in Christ "his sons of faith" does not sit well with my Spirit as the ONLY one to be called FATHER is our Heavenly Father.Has this gentleman also given himself the name of Father to his "followers?" If so, then WHOA! There is also scripture about this as well.God bless you and Hold on to our Holy Spirits guidance.God wants ONLY what is best for us and when something does not sit well with the Spirit (that really ansty sense of something being not quite right and out of wack) then let that always lead us. My prayer goes out this day for God's light of protection to be over and around each and every one of us.It is why it is so very important not to take Him for granted.This relationship we have with him needs nurtured and cannot be allowed to collect dust upon a shelf.
