Church is Better

One night I went to a youth service which was held in High Point, North Carolina. I love that church, the Spirit of the Lord is obviously in that place and I just feel it so strong. That very night there was a guest preacher who was preaching a message about not giving up on God or stop going to church(aka, backsliders). He said something that I use quite often in witnessing. "It's better to be in church on the church's worst day, than to be in the world on the world's best day." I love it.

Today, at church, I felt such an anointing sweep over me. Before the anointing came over me I spoke in tongues and there was interpretation. When I was finished speaking in tongues, I couldn't open my eyes because the Spirit of the Lord became so strong. Then when the interpretation(I didn't interpret)was over I felt something so strong to where I was dizzy. I was praying with my eyes closed and I felt by body go light, very light. I felt like I was weak, and I was going to pass out.

I just thought I would testify about the Spirit of God being upon someone. But it's ever stronger when He comes inside of you(receiving the Holy Ghost). It's quite amazing. In fact, during the church service I said a quiet prayer at least three times, "Please, let the pastor call on me and tell me to testify." Then, two minutes later, he called on me and I testified about revival. Then I prayed, "Please speak through me in tongues and let there be an interpretation." Three minutes later, it happened. Then I prayed, "Spirit of God, come upon me in a way that it has never happened before." And that's where the dizziness and not being able to open my eyes happened. But I was holding back. I knew if I fell in the floor that I would obtain victory. The Devil was lying to me.
