What is the true essence of Christmas?

   Is it the gift under the tree?... the lights in the windows?... the cards we received?... nice foods on the table?... stockings hanging in the living room?... and a shouts of 'merry christmas'... to those who pass us along the streets? Is this the true essence of Christmas???

   For many people Christmas is a time of sorrow...they don't have extra money to buy gifts for their family and friends. Some are too sad...thinking of their love ones who will not able to come home for various reasons. Yet Christmas can be a season of great joy ... it is a time of God showing His great love for us... a time of healing and renewal. You see the true essence?... the birth of Jesus Christ into the world brought us great joy...His not just an ordinary baby born into the world ... the special baby sent to us by our Father in heaven .. He has a great purpose why He was been born...the SALVATION OF MANKIND. Without Jesus we will all die with sins.

But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.

So let's look at Christmas in a new way. This is the time to invite Jesus into our heart. Let us forgive and forget so that we can truly feel the real joy and peace in our heart ...so that we could meet all the blessings from the Father in heaven.
