Christian Warrior Poem "The Rhino"

Tonight sleeping last time in the warmth of his bed.
Last time getting council from his father and grandfathers.
War… is his home for the next 10,000 years.
Demons to fight and kill.
Devil blood to spill.

Off to war Rhino goes, leaving behind mother in sorrow.
While he walks with fellow soldiers who has bow and arrows.
Shield poised on his left arm, axe over his right.
Blazing armor made from gold & silver lace.

Rhino with goring on the mind.
General J. Christ says, “You all are to fight for all Heavenkind.”
With one voice the army of Heaven cries out, “For You, for you.”
Rhino yells even louder, “I will dismember many demons this for you my King.”

Yet there was a traitor in the mist of the Heavenly army.
The King General was caught by the foe.
The King General said, “On this day you will still fight, but I’m going to win in death.”
Rhino running to help The King General but something grew in the Rhino’s heart.

It grew bigger and bigger not only within Rhino but in the rest of the Heavenly army.
It echoed like lighting sounds in a canyon.
The King General died. Before His final breath He cried, “I have won…!!!!!”
After The King General closed His eyes of the last time.

The Honor Guard of Heaven came down and destroied the empire of Satan
but there was an messenger who said, “We were in waiting for this day you have served your King General well, go and tell of His great victory and you yourselves will be true soldiers in His Heavenly army.”

After the war was won the Heavenly army cried out on their way home,
“Our King is victorious.” 1,000,000 fold and times 1,000,000,000,000 soldiers strong.
The Earth shock like an earthquake.
It was a clear sky but 1,000,000,000,000 soldiers strong sounded like thunder.
As to see this mass of soldiers was like seeing an ocean of people each sway looks like waves braking on the shore.

Little by little the ocean of soldiers strong lessened as each smaller wave went to the east or to the west.
As Rhino got closer to his home the earth move less, the ocean of people shrunk down to a lake then a pond and lastly a trickle, the thunderous roar shrunk down to a small riot then lastly Rhino only heard himself chanted, “Our King is victorious.”

Finally Rhino got home after the war.
Rhino’s family wanted to know what happened.
So he tells it from the very start.
