the whole thing was an experience that i will never forget,when i came out of the water i felt so close to God.it was so amazing God bless you all.

I can fully understand what that was like for you. I was baptised myself on the 15th of July this year. It is a feeling that is difficult to describe. It is for me anyway... Like I don't know the right adjectives to use to describe that feeling when you don't know if you want to cry or laugh hysterically. When you don't know if your legs can hold your weight, or if you are going to collapse into a heap if the pastor should let go of you. When you are shaking with cold but you feel like you are on fire!!! When you want to shout out joyfully and weep bitterly at the same time, in the knowledge that your Redeemer had accepted you just as you are, despite being a wretch and you know that there is NOTHING that you could have done to deserve it. Well, that was how it was for me anyway...

Hi Trevor, I can so relate to your experience! My family and I are from South Africa, living in Riyadh Saudi Arabia since May of 2007. I was born again in Feb 2009 and baptised on 18 September, the last week of Ramadan! We serve an amazing God that brings life to the lost and peace to the restless!
