All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Psa 66:12  You caused men to ride over us. You brought us through fire and water, but you led us to abundance.

We should declare unto those that fear God, what he has done for our souls, and how he has heard and answered our prayers, inviting them to join us in prayer and praise; this will turn to our mutual comfort, and to the glory of God. We cannot share these spiritual privileges, if we retain the love of sin in our hearts, though we refrain from the gross practice, Sin, regarded in the heart, will spoil the comfort and success of prayer;

Life is full of troubles and trials, difficult circumstances and hard times and the Psalmist likens it to going through fire and water.  But notice he says, “We went through”.  That means that the fire and water is behind you, the testing time that almost took your physical or spiritual life is over. Don’t you love the “buts” in Scripture? Things may have been bad for you for a long time; in fact you may feel that you’ll never come out of the dark tunnel you’re going through at present. But there is a “but” if you love the Lord “But YOU”, “BUT GOD”! Circumstances we could never change ourselves have suddenly been change by God. The darkness recedes and you see light again. You see, His plans for us are always good. He always has a future and a hope for us. And all things work together for good when you love God and are called according to His purpose. God always wants us to live in a place of abundance. He wants us to have an abundance of peace, an abundance of joy, an abundance of everything we need for this life to fulfill His purpose. He wants us to overflow with His blessings so that we can be a       blessing to the people with whom we come in contact. We need to remember we are children of the King of Kings. 1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Christ is called a Stone, to teach his servants that he is their protection and security, the foundation on which they are built. He is precious in the excellence of his nature, the dignity of his office, and the glory of his services. We are a holy priesthood; sacred to God, serviceable to others, endowed with heavenly gifts and graces. Christ is the chief Corner-stone that unites us all into one everlasting temple with Him

We are those who must declare His Goodness and greatness to the world around us
