All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

A poem by our dear brother, Ron Payne, who has gone home to be with the Lord

DO NOT WEEP FOR ME!

Stand not at my graveside and weep for me, for I am not there.
I am with the Spirit of God as He moves into your hearts,
To remind you that our separation will be but a fleeting moment.

Stand not at my graveside and weep for me, for I am not there.
Think of me, when you remember my name for then,
I will be thinking of you,
As I remember yours.

Stand not at my graveside and weep for me, for I am not there.
I am with my Lord, Who cannot lie when He said:
“He that believes in Me shall never die.”

Stand not at my graveside and weep for me, for I am not there.
I stand at the throne of God, and wait,
Not for my place in heaven,
for that has already been accomplished by my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I wait upon God as to how close I may be seated at His side,
That I might whisper your names, one by one,
And tell Him how much I love you all.
