All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I am not only new to AllAboutGOD.net, but I am also new to blogging! All is quiet in my house (which is a rarity!). This is giving me the chance to look around this site more and reply back to those who have left comments for me. I am happy to have joined the Bible Study group, as I feel the need to study the Bible again. I haven't studied it for a few years now, and am looking forward to learning more about the Bible. On another note, I just finished my application to Liberty University to finish my bachelor degree so I can continue my studies to get a Master of Divinity degree. I am excited that I am finally starting down the path in which God is calling me. I have been running from my calling to be a minister for a while, and now I feel so much peace that I have started the journey to becoming a minister. There is just one issue, though. My husband would not support me in my decision to become a minister. He doesn't believe in God and feels it's a waste of time to go to church, let alone study to minister in a church! I know that if I am truly meant to walk the path of being a minister that God will help me with this issue in some way. I just have to pray and have faith that things will work out for me. God has always been there for me and has always opened doors or allowed things to happen that have helped me.

Trust Gods word. Pray pray and pray more. God will do what His word says. You and your house shall be saved. Do good and spit out evil. Evan when you want revenge. Do good. God be with you my sister.

Alfred,

I will continue to pray for my husband and have faith he will eventually understand God like I do. Sometimes I feel that I cannot pray so much for my husband, as I feel that I am being selfish because I want my husband to have the same beliefs I do. I definitely want my husband to be saved by God. It is hard to remember that with God on my side, no one can be against me, like you mentioned, which would include my husband. I sometimes forget how powerful God is! If He can create the whole universe, then He can definitely help my husband to open his eyes to the love of God.

Good on ya mate! Never neglect the calling! We will all answer to God for everything! Good or bad. As far as your Husband is concerned you will need a new carpet after you finish all the praying you will need to do for him. Hear this young patawa (jedi in training). My senior Pastor was not serving the Lord for years after his wife came to the Lord. Then after he came to the Lord he ran from the calling of Pastorship for ten years. That was twenty years ago and look at him now. 1corinthians 5:16-17 says be joyfull and keep on praying. Patience my sister. Prayer and fasting. Loving him through it all will make the differance. If God is for you then who can be against you. Put on the full armor of God and stand your ground against this folly sent by satan. Your first lesson grasshopper is to pray pray pray. God will listen and respond to any prayer that is according to His Word. Remember to pray according to the Word of God, and not according to our wants. Blessings to you and your family, and a prayer for your Husband that he become the man of God he was intended to be. In Jesus name I pray. All Honor and praise to Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.
