You are always ministering to those around you. Even though you may not be behind a pulpit, your life is your sermon. People watch how you live, how you respond to adversity, how consistent you are and how you treat the people around you. God calls us to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. This simply means that the way we live should make other people want to be around us and have what we have. We should express so much joy, so much peace, be so kind, so generous and so good-natured that it draws people to us. Someone once said, "Preach at all times. Use words only if necessary." If you will strive each day to be a good example, you will not only make a positive impact in other people's lives, but God will begin to bless you in return.
