All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

First ministry with an organized group.

[ Draft ] I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve in a church group that is alive and on the unusual side. Our church is next door to a bar in a small community. The ministry is patterned after the Matthew 9 account of Jesus joining Matthew and the sinners. A busy week of fixing the building up, a real challenge as it is a historical building (bank) from the 1849 California gold rush days. Many of those hurt by mainstream churches are being attracted and the Lord is moving.

It is a challenge for me to interact with those still in the lifestyle I once embraced. This is dangerous territory for me and I ask for prayer to not be enticed back to that lifestyle that was leading me to hell. I am engaged in spiritual warfare and am glad to have studied this. I am learning to know the enemy and avoid the pitfalls. Release back into playing music has been a joy and playing with the bar band was a challenge in that I really had to pray constantly for the evil that manifests in these situations. Again keep me and the ministry in prayer.

Thank you Lord for using me. Keep me Humble and place a hedge of protection around me to keep me in your will. Let your words and actions attract those who you would call for your glory.

Spiritual warfare is wonderful when I allow Jesus be the commander in chief. Tonite satan was dealt a powerful blow. My adopted daughter is back and turning it all over to God. That is the power of prayer.

I'm keeping you in prayer brother! It's awesome to see the hand of God moving in your life. Spiritual warfare, can be horrible, but we can work through it if God is our strength.

Your sister in Christ,
Grace
